Welcome to our Water Oak Villa, a completely renovated light and airy nautical themed 3 bed 4 bath townhouse. We look forward to sharing our vacation villa with you. We are local owners that mange your stay from start to finish. Browse our property pictures, check our calendar and then get ready for a fabulous vacation.

The perfect getaway for a family vacation or golfers paradise.

Located just steps from the pool and a short 10-minute walk to the sand, this luxury Palmetto Dunes villa boasts 3 large bedrooms + a kid’s bonus room, 4 full bathrooms and 1,500 square feet of living space. Enjoy our courtyard with a pool view or from each bedroom’s private patio. Indulge in our newly renovated ensuites in each bedroom.
About Our Space
The villa has been updated throughout with stone floors that look like wood, furniture is new, and various other appointments have been modernized. The kitchen has been opened up for full access from the rest of the villa. It has beautiful custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and comes fully equipped with everything you'll need. The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen and seats six comfortably. The Livingroom, refurnished fall 2022, features multiple seating with comfort in mind along with an HDTV and slider access to your private patio. Guests will be able to utilize the full bath off the living room.
Completing the first floor is the master bedroom with a king bed, HDTV, slider access to the private patio and an ensuite master bathroom. The master bathroom is nicely done with a granite topped vanity and subway tiled walk-in shower.
Heading upstairs are two guest bedrooms, a bonus sleeping area and two bathrooms. On the right is the spacious queen guest bedroom, which features a private viewing balcony and an ensuite guest bathroom. This guest bathroom is updated with a granite topped vanity and tiled walk-in shower. Top of the stairs straight ahead is a small 'bonus room' with two twin bunk beds, perfect for little ones. To the left is the final guest bedroom, which has one twin bed plus a double/twin bunk bed combination, a private viewing balcony and yet another ensuite bathroom. This updated guest bathroom features a granite topped vanity and nicely tiled tub and shower combination. Our unit to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests.

Palmetto Dunes is a wonderful location on Hilton Head Island. The lodging was great and the short 10-minute walk to the beach was easy. Janet and Nick are excellent to work with and strive to make your stay a success.

Perfect location

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning Hilton Head beach villa, and it was absolutely perfect! The villa is beautifully appointed with modern, comfortable furnishings, and the community pool was a fantastic bonus. The proximity to the beach was convenient, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sand. The peaceful surroundings and well-maintained property added to the overall charm. The host was attentive and made sure everything was in top shape. This villa truly provided a memorable and relaxing getaway. Family vacation

Our family stayed at this location for 5 nights. Our family had a great experience staying at this property. Janet (owner) was accommodating and very timely to answer questions regarding the property prior to our arrival. The property was very clean, short walk / bike ride to beach, community pool literally at the back door, kitchen is well appointed. Interior has been recently updated / renovated. Our family of 7 had adequate space yo relax, play family games in the evenings, and the 4 bathrooms were a plus with 7 people.

Wish I had booked longer!

This was our 4th stay on the PD resort and this was by far my favorite. Location to the beach and the use of the community pool made our stay very easy and relaxing. The villa was very clean and tastefully decorated and well stocked with all essential needs. Janet was very easy to get hold of, recommending a couple of bakeries for our birthday celebrations which proved a big hit!

Great home/location!

Our family & friends (4 kids / 4 adults) stayed at this location for 4 nights. We had plenty of room in the home, could definitely fit another family comfortably. Home was located in the middle of all amenities. Few min drive to the beach or 15 min walk. Kids loved running out the sliding patio doors to the pool. Shuttle bus services to amenities as well. Would recommend to other family/ friends & we hope to visit again in the future!

Great Stay and Prompt Communixation!

We visit HHI often and this was one of our best stays over the past 15 years. The location is perfect with a short bike ride or walk to the beach. Pool is steps away and the property is updated. There are many thoughtful touches and it’s clear Janet cares about the comfort of her guests. Well done!

A good time had. The property was aged. Kitchen table’s top was covered by a covering that was disgusting. We removed it and found the table top was beginning to decompose and was sticky and dirty. We finally used a clean beach towel to cover it. Unit was ok, but as a several time VRBO renter was disappointed with the facility and it’s correlation with the pictures. The unit is definitely old and showing it..

Great location

This was our second trip to Hilton Head and our first staying in Palmetto Dunes. We really enjoyed being able to bike easily to the beach, general store (kids loved it!) and Shelter Cove. We did not play tennis and we do not golf, but if you like those things this is a good place for you. There were plenty of families but also groups of adults golfing especially on the weekend. The condo was beautifully decorated and very spacious. We did not cook very much but there were plenty of pots and pans available- if you expect to cook a lot you will need to bring anything perishable including cooking oil and spices. Kids were thrilled that the pool was open (unheated, but they didn’t mind!). The beach closet was a godsend so we did not have to haul everything from Michigan, and Janet dropped off beach towels for us. We would stay here again! Thanks!

Great family stay!

If you're looking for somewhere on the island to stay with plenty of beds and bathrooms with updated furnishings this is your place. Pool is right outside the back and beach is just a short walk away. Host was great and easy to coordinate with. Will stay again next time we come to Hilton Head.

Perfect!

We came for a family reunion. We rented this one and 3 other units in Water Oak. This home was clean, beautifully decorated, and in a great location to the pool and the beach. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped with lots of pots, pans, bowls, and unique items, like a fondue pot, stick blender, and bullet. We hosted a family dinner for 20 and had everything we needed to cook. The room configurations were perfect for our family even down to the barn door separating the bonus sleeping area. Furniture, dishes, etc., made it feel like a home and not a cheaply furnished rental. The only upgrade we'd suggest would be room blackening shades or curtains for the early morning sun. Otherwise it was perfect. Thank you for having us!

Wonderful place to get away from reality!!

Loved all the up-dated decor. The large washer and dryer were such a bonus from previous places in Palmetto Dunes!! The sheets and linens were spotless and in abundance. Not a single insect all week. Welcome Center bent over back-ward to reassure our stay waa A-plus!

Loved the trails that seem to go nearly everywhere on the island. Loved the property's proximity to the beach and location of the pool just steps off the patio. The property nicely met our needs with a group of 8, was very clean and provided about anything we could think of. Kitchen stocked... beach chairs and umbrellas available for our beaching... We also appreciated the modern decor and amenities. You literally cant tell the age the condo might be because of little luxuries like HVAC controls in each room, or each bedroom having a separate bathroom. We had not been to HH before and didn’t check out other resorts on the island (to compare)but we thought Palmetto Plantation was very clean, had many ways to access the beaches and had just amazing beauty on the grounds. Also had several opportunities for dining and shopping. We rode our bikes all over the resort and like I said, we really enjoyed the greenway style trails that are everywhere. All told we had a great visit and hope to return soon. Thanks to our hosts for a great time with our family

Clean and Comfortable Condo

The condo was very clean and furnishings were very nice. Easy bike ride or car ride to the beach. You can walk but we found it a bit far in the heat. We loved the provided chairs, umbrellas, and beach wagon! The pool was literally only steps away! We were able to go to the golf course next to the condo and watch the Tuesday night fireworks. We would definitely stay here again.

A great 2 weeks.

Would definitely stay here again. Pool steps away, beach short distance and all shady whether walking or biking. Loved Fazio golf course and Dunes Grill. Accommodations big enough for 8 and the bath are plenty . Very close to activities, shopping, Savannah, etc. Hosts also available if questions. Thank you for pleasant stay.

Amazing Villa

Absolutely loved staying in this villa! Every detail was done to perfection...the bedding was very comfortable, the bathrooms nicely renovated, plenty of space, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the private outdoor patio had a beautiful view of the pool. I would say this is one of the nicest villas in the complex.
