« We were delighted with this small, but well-thought out home. Four adults easily felt at home using the three bedrooms, we never had any issues with hot water or heat, as we were there during a very cold spell of temps in the upper 20s and 30s. As the driveway is not paved, I would recommend a dedicated place near the front door for shoes. Also, the batteries for the fireplace remote need replacing, as well as some lightbulbs in the lamps. « We had an amazing stay and the location was perfect. Not too remote, but just secluded enough. Close to many attractions, trails, and fun restaurants in the hill country. The patio was where we spent most of our time and loved it. Left feeling recharged and refreshed. However, the view isn’t as visible as the photos as there are some trees blocking the view. « This is our second time staying at the cottage and we love it! We love the privacy and rural area where the deer come to visit daily -a nice distance away from Fredericksburg. The cottage is well equipped, clean and baby friendly as we had a one year old and the playpen came in handy.
