Authentic & Old Cottage Highland mis à jour pour l'Úre moderne, niché sur deux acres de terrain boisé, dont un ruisseau et des sentiers pédestres.

La cabine offre une chambre double dĂ©tente, une chambre confortable avec un lit double et un lit superposĂ© double. Il y a aussi l'option d'un canapĂ© dĂ©pliant pour les arrangements de couchage supplĂ©mentaire. Vous pourrez Ă©galement profiter de la salle de bains, rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©. La cuisine est une partie de la salle de sĂ©jour et permet Ă  chacun d'ĂȘtre inclus dans l'activitĂ©. Il est Ă©quipĂ© de stockage et la plupart des Ă©lĂ©ments que vous auriez normalement besoin pour la prĂ©paration. La table Ă  manger est parfait pour un repas de famille ou les soirs de match. D'autres prĂ©fĂšrent se dĂ©tendre dans le fauteuil de cuir ou une chaise longue et profiter d'un feu. Les enfants et les adultes apprĂ©cieront errant la propriĂ©tĂ© et dĂ©couvrir des cachettes amusantes, le ruisseau, une maison d'arbre, un pavillon par le ruisseau, et une balançoire pour plus de sensations fortes.

Une courte promenade vous emmĂšne Ă  Mirror Lake ou le lac Sequoia pour nourrir les canards, les poissons ou en canoĂ«. Nous avons un canot prĂȘt Ă  ĂȘtre utilisĂ© au lac Miroir. Les engins de pĂȘche est fourni ainsi.

Profitez d'une lecture de l'aprÚs-midi dans la balançoire porche ou faire la sieste par le feu.

Pour le type aventureux, il ya de nombreuses possibilitĂ©s de longues randonnĂ©es et des visites aux chutes d'eau, certains Ă  quelques minutes seulement. Vous pouvez Ă©galement profiter de la tyrolienne ou le rafting et de tubes en voyageant seulement un peu court. Si vous ĂȘtes Ă  la recherche de l'activitĂ© de l'hiver, Ă  proximitĂ© Valley Sapphire offre du ski et de la neige tube.

Pour les amateurs de boutiques et de restaurants, le centre-ville de Highlands est à seulement quelques minutes et possÚde fines, magasins de propriété locale, restaurants uniques et des choix de vins, des galeries et antiquaires. Cabin Retreat

I just LOVED my stay at this cabin. The outdoor space is one of the best I've had the opportunity to enjoy. The front porch has plush oversize seating and a swing for morning coffee and late night relaxation with beautiful lighting. There was also a covered deck area steps away from the house that sat next to the creek which allowed you to stretch out and listed to the water and soak up nature. This cabin had just the right amount of rustic quality with modern finishes in the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was comfortable as well. I will be back.

Vintage Mountain Retreat

If you want to step back in time and stay at a vintage mountain cabin, this is the place. While everything is comfortable and up-to-date, there is still the feeling that generations of a family have loved being together here, and their happiness has soaked into the walls. A velvet silence settles over the place at night and the porch is so comfortable I could have slept there. Take the hefty security deposit seriously, however, since you may have to wait a couple of weeks for it to be refunded. Or you could just accept it as one of the hurdles you have to clear to stay at a place this lovely.

Exactly as advertised

This is a very quaint and comfortable cabin located close to downtown Highlands. 5 stars. AC worked well. Nicely decorated. TV/Internet worked well. This is not a critique, but the only downside would be the kitchen is small and there is no dishwasher. Very basic in terms of cooking potential. Everything else is great and we look forward to renting again!

Awesome location - loved the space and the canoe!

Everything was as listed and the area was super - was able to walk down to the lake to go canoeing and we walked into town several times - we like to walk and hike, so walking into town was an adventure itself. We used the fire place and it worked fabulously.

Most comfortable rental EVER

Cabin was spotlessly clean and had the MOST comfortable furniture. The front porch is a haven. There are multiple outdoor sitting areas, including a fire pit on the side of the house not pictured on VRBO, which we enjoyed. There are string lights in the outdoor areas, which makes for a cool atmosphere at night and helps you get around in the dark. The property was big enough to keep my 12-year-old son busy, but close enough that I didn’t worry. The creek pavilion is really amazing, I wish we had gotten to enjoy it more, but it was a short trip. There’s a heater there which we didn’t even turn on, but would make for a nice nighttime hangout spot. There are also two fire pits in this area, right next to the creek. The creek itself was small but beautiful, trickling over rocks. No “swimming hole”, but it would be fun to play in in the summer. The house is in a neighborhood, and while we were aware that others were around, we barely heard any cars and never heard a human voice. It was very peaceful. Beds were very comfy. No barking dogs to wake us up in the morning, which has been an annoyance for us at many other mountain rentals. Highlands is the cutest little town with many amenities, and is very quick and easy to access from the cabin. This is a very convenient location for exploring the area, which is beautiful and rife with waterfalls! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin! Perfectly decorated and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. It was secluded, but so close to town and several hiking/waterfall spots. For a pet friendly house, it was exceptionally clean. Our Huckleberry, enjoyed running around the large property.

Perfect Old school cabin

We loved our stay here! We were in town for business and we opted for a cabin instead of hotel - best decision we made. You can tell the owners love this place - meaningful touches everywhere. The bathroom towels were luxe and the kitchen stocked well! Hope we can return one day.

Relaxation ideal for a family!

I took my family of four to spend a couple of nights in the cabin. We were looking for a nice getaway where we could distance ourselves from others and enjoy time together. Every detail is attended to within the cabin, and it’s a wonderful mixture of modern and rustic. We were able to easily get to downtown Highlands, hike and explore waterfalls. The property also has hidden gems in the backyard: treehouse with swing and a covered loft/marina with ample seating where you can lounge and enjoy the natural beauty and the sound of water.

Great weekend get away

Perfect weekend get away spot. Old home but clean and simple for a no stress weekend. Great location for exploring the Highlands area. Our dogs and boys loved wandering the property. The creekside fire pit and covered patio are a great relaxing spot.
