« Nous avons apprécié notre bref séjour dans cet endroit située en plein cœur de la New Forest. Endroit typique avec possibilité de voir des chevaux. Restaurant avec des plats de qualité pour le dîner du soir. Un petit déjeuner anglais et délicieux nous a été servi. Bien qu'en rénovation l'établissement est une belle bâtisse avec un grand parking. Le personnel est professionnel et accueillant. Je recommande cet établissement. »

« Lovely cosy stay. We stayed for 1 night. The room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. The inn had a lovely feel and was decorated for Halloween which my son loved. Breakfast was included and it was lovely my son said it's the best breakfast and hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Overall a lovely stay we'd definitely come back. »

« Room was very clean and well presented, with all expected facilities. Plenty of parking and welcoming staff. Breakfast provision was not clear when booking but was available to purchase each morning. The menu suggested that continental breakfast was included in the price of all cooked breakfasts but it was not evident. Breakfast was a good portion size and very tasty. « Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel-pub situé dans un quartier résidentiel très calme. Nous avions une grande et belle chambre très propre avec literie confortable. Le pub ferme assez tôt même en week-end (23h) donc nous n'avons absolument pas été dérangés pour dormir. Très bon petit déjeuner à l'anglaise avec plusieurs choix possibles. Personnel très sympathique. »

« I have just stayed at The Fighting Cocks for the weekend. Unfortunately we choose the weekend of the A31 closure and the New Forest fires! Resulting in a lot of traffic passing the pub. Not their fault. The staff were very helpful and friendly the room was great, clean and comfortable and breakfast was included and really tasty. We had an evening meal on the Saturday which was ample and reasonably priced. All in all a great little stop over. »

« Petit hotel en bord de plage, vieillot mais très propre et très chaleureux, confortable, personnel très sympa , très bon petit déjeuner (chaud et froid) seul petit hic: la faible pression de l’eau chaude au2eme étage mais c’est tout à fait secondaire par rapport à tous les points positifs. On y retournera volontiers car nos promenades commençaient à la porte de l’hôtel »

« Vendu sur expedia comme un 4 etoiles, l'état d'entretien de l'établissement se situe bien en deça ! Très mauvaise insonorisation des chambres, d'autant plus que l'hôtel se situe à côté d'un parc d'attraction qui attire de nombreux enfants bruyants. Bon petit déjeuner. »

« Stayed here for 2 nights and will definitely stay again! The rooms were nice and cosy, great food options, quiet location, friendly staff and only a few minutes drive from car parks to walk in the New forest. Highly recommend »
