« A Decent Place to Sleep, but Needs Improvement If you’re simply looking for a place to sleep and come and go, this motel may work for you. It’s definitely not luxurious, but that’s what you would expect from a motel-style location. For the most part, our room was clean, but there were several issues that made our stay less comfortable. The bathroom was our biggest concern. The lights weren’t working properly, several outlets in the room were damaged, and the blow dryer didn’t work. Whenever we...

« Nous avons été bien accueilli dans ce motel super 8. Plutôt bas de gamme et l'extérieur est pas terrible mais les chambres sont propres et confortables. Beaucoup d'ouvriers lorsque nous sommes passés. Pas de bruit la nuit mais départ des ouvriers le matin. Le petit déjeuner était basique et il ne restait plus grand chose à manger. Bien situé pour visiter les sites de la guerre civile et motel pas cher. »

« Only stay if no other options available.. »

« Fantastic stay - incredible staff - super helpful and friendly. Thanks so much! »

« Property surrounding house is lovely. We were drawn to the pet friendly aspect and the B&B atmosphere. House itself is smaller than it looks in photo. Everything was clean but interior looks tired. Our bathroom in Magnolia Room had peeling paint and tub didn't hold water. Continental breakfast was adequate but compared to breakfasts at other B&Bs, it was unremarkable. B&B located close to downtown and within easy drive to Appomattox Courthouse National Park. »

« Bel hôtel, belle chambre lit confortable,, petit frigo pratique. »

« We spend two wonderful days. The room was clean, really nice and unique. All the available rooms are open so you can enjoy and see all the different decoration. Bed was super confortable, local and very nice toiletries available in the room and hostess so welcoming and available. Then you go to breakfast in the morning and you definitely say that you will be back! It was gorgeous, made with fresh products and so well prepared. We also dine one night there and diner was as good and well prepared...

« I’m going to start off with saying The manor is beautiful. I found this gem kinda last minute and I’m glad I did. It is very clean, quiet and I felt mostly like I had it to myself. There were other guests who were staying but unless if I seen their vehicle or faintly heard them when I went to the Bathroom, I’d have never known. So as many others state, there is no breakfast, the owner you have to call upon arrival, they explain why and they are so nice. But I didn’t stay there for the...

« likes: new heater worked nicely clean room location price dislikes: poor lighting metal framed bed??! also very small. not appropriate for two adults and should not be marketed as such the complimentary breakfast” is a joke - don’t call it that. »

« This was by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. The rooms were dirty, the hallways were dirty, the dining room was dirty and I arrived when it opened. There was only stale bread and milk in the fridge that was spoiled. One front desk staff was polite but would not pass on contact info for the manager. I did email him 3 times with no response. I left after one night but was charged another night for early checkout. Please do not stay there, it is inhabitable. »

« Cute little room if you want to lay your head for 1 or 2 nights. Comfy bed and clean. Most Places are walkable. »

« Closest place to venue for a wedding. Price was good and nothing else was good. Our tv was protected from content…on a lifetime movie and on daily news. Drapes had holes in it. Literally no maid service for towels and bed, they only emptied trash can. »

« Home was well stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen, towels, bedding, etc. The only thing is that the listing says that it can sleep six people which is possible, but I would recommend no more than five adults or four adults and either two kids on the pullout couch or one adult. There was a pack and play if you had an infant, which could be the sixth person, but definitely would be uncomfortable for two adults to be on the pullout sofa as it’s not a regular pullout sofa with a...
