« This was a magnificent place to stay. The location was beautiful. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the place was kept super clean. The area was so peaceful. I just wished they had breakfast included in the mornings. Other than that the place was superb. »

« We stayed in the Mallard Cabin right by the lake. Only having 1 bathroom was a bit tight for my family of 5, but luckily the office was right next door and had bathrooms if needed. The view from the porch was beautiful and we loved using the complimentary kayaks. There was a musty smell in the cabin, but it is an older building, so nothing we couldn't handle. My kids loved staying on the lake, making smores in the fire pit and playing board games on the porch. Having a full kitchen was great...

« Great location on the lake. My husband and I kayacked, fished, brought our pup along. We enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. The owners were more than welcoming, anticipated our needs before we thought of them. »

« This is definitely one of the best stays when visiting Helen,GA and surrounding areas. It was so clean and comfortable with beautiful, relaxing creek views. The property has all the amenities of home. It was just a short drive to all the places we wanted to go in Helen. Unfortunately, it was still way too hot out to use the fire pit in the first week of September. We still enjoyed our stay. »

« Lovely little cabin at a wonderful price point. The walk down to the river takes less than a minute, and it’s very private. Lots of really cool rocks to be found in the Hiawassee river, and it’s a short drive into the town of Hiawassee or to Helen. »

« What a relaxing 5 days we had at the Forest Cabin. The home was tastefully decorated and furnished beautifully with all the necessities one would need for meal preparation, dining, and daily living. The outdoor screened in porch was my favorite spot while there and was a great place to relax and dine while enjoying the serenity of the wooded mountainside or just to sit, relax, and read a book. The attached outdoor deck with a hot tub was a nice touch to take a dip after a day of exploring the...

« We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin is immaculate! Very easy check in process. Very peaceful and secluded. Well definitely be back! »

« This lovely cabin in nature is immaculate. Tranquil, relaxing, equipped with everything you need and close to so many adventures. Hope it is available again next time I am in the area. Hosts were lovely. Answered any questions I had promptly »

« We had a short stay in order to pick up a new puppy from a friend. The place was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable and LOVED the kitchen and bath. The one question/concern we had is that was no stated check out instructions other than time and the key. No info about trash, linens, dishes or thermostats. Thank you all so much! »

« Exceptional property- immaculate, peaceful and private location during to trees surrounding the property, easy to communicate with the owner, kitchen well- stocked for cooking, nice coffee makers, beds extremely comfortable, good proximity to town. Beautiful mountain view from the back deck as well as plentiful outside seating. Would return in a heartbeat! »

« Perfect property. We loved it and stayed for 11 days. Will come back again. »

« Loved the house and location! Been going to hiawassee for 32 years, and this one was very peaceful, alittle ruff if you have a boat and trailer, but figured it out! Would love to see lights on the dock to hang out there at night, but will def book it again! »

« Wonderful property and host! Will definitely stay there again!! »
