Thank you for your feedback. The location of the Woolshed is convenient for a walk to the beach and local restaurants and bars. Not all rooms are sharing the main bathrooms and we do have another shower and toilet in the kitchen block. The facilities can be busy during peak hours, eg before and after tours, otherwise the facilities are fit for purpose. For an extra 25 per night you could have had your own private bathroom and avoided any wait.We are set on 1 acre of lush tropical gardens and this is definitely one of the highlights of staying at the Woolshed, the majority of guests love the relaxing atmosphere of our gardens but maybe our property was just not the right fit for you.Safe travels.

Thank you for your feedback Carina and we're happy to hear you enjoyed your stay at the Woolshed.We are aware some of the wall could have better insulation however we are a budget offering and our prices reflect that. There are plan's under way for some major renovations which will address this inconvenience.

Thank you for your feedback Nichole, This was on the maintenance schedule and we were told it was fixed. We'll ask maintenance to take another look this week.The Woolshed location is centrally located in the middle of Hervey Bay and 5 minutes walk to the beach, cafes and restaurants.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. Scarness beach and shops is a five minute walk however Torquay beach and shops is a little further and would take 10 minutes to walk. We offer a shared kitchen facility and provide guests with a cutlery set if required.

Thank you for your feedback and we are sincerely sorry we did not meet your expectations. We were a little surprised when the senior ladies checked and said they booked here because there usual resort accommodation was booked out. The Woolshed is a clean themed budget accommodation. Most of our guests choose to stay here because they are seeking affordable accommodation without the bells and whistles. Luxury camping describes the Woolshed well! The ladies were given the after hours number and we wish they had called us for more blankets as we would have happily obliged, however ironing the sheets is not a service we provide. The room had 2 windows, beds made with clean linen and duvet, table and chairs, private bathroom, sink, bar fridge and tea/coffee facilities for $85. Re the accident while opening the gate, the receptionist approached the accident in a calm manner and accessed if an ambulance was needed, after accessing injuries it was agreed cleaning and covering open wounds was all that was needed. The ladies were obviously upset with what had happened and said they were going to have a cup of tea after the wounds were dressed so no further help was offered. Duty of care will be discussed at our next team meeting however from the receptionist report we feel she handled the incident well.
