« The cottage is exactly as described, very comfortable and well-equipped. The welcome basket of "goodies" was a nice touch. The location is really spectacular - right on the cliff top overlooking the sea, remote but still within walking distance of the village. I was a little concerned about the drive along the muddy track to the cottage, but even I managed it in our little Hyundai i30! »

« We enjoyed staying at Primrose - very clean and plenty of space for us. The wood burner is fab - makes the place very cosy and also were pleased to be able to store bikes in the shed which was lockable. Definitely looking to return in the summer if available ! »

« When we arrived we were met straight away by Colin. We had a lovely chat and was showed around the property and told " nowhere was off limits in their beautiful garden. We enjoyed the complimentary cream tea and was very impressed with the accommodation. Nothing seemed to be a problem, Colin and his wife were always available but also discreet. « I wish I could have stayed at this magical property for more than two nights. The cottage was so cosy and welcoming, and the grounds were beyond beautiful with changing foliage, roses and birdsong. The owners were so sweet and welcoming, and I loved how the property felt so isolated and private, but many amenities such as grocery stores and towns were nearby. I love Cornwall so much! This property remains my favourite VRBO experience, period. »

« The property was just as listed. Everything was in very good condition and really clean. We were left some firewood and kindling too which was really appreciated as it was quite chilly when we went! The central heating was great and the wood burner added the extra warmth for cosiness. The garden was lovely and parking was really convenient. Easy to find the property and we had a great stay. »

« Island House is perfectly located in the centre of Porthleven. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. It was an ideal base for a walking holiday. Excellent restaurants, pubs and a micro-brewery within walking distance. Will certainly return and would highly recommend to others. The host, James, could not have been more helpful. »
