Holiday get Away
It is a lovely location, in a quiet neighborhood, with a wonderful backyard, on the beautiful Little Red River. For complete comfort we recommend a maximum of 5 guests, although 6 is possible. This was our second stay and plan to stay again.

The owners had thought of every needed essentials. The cabin was clean. The view was very scenic with beautiful visible rocks in the river. We had an amazing, relaxing weekend.

The cabin was large enough for our stay. Unfortunately it wasn't clean when we got there. There was food in the microwave from the previous tenant. I had stayed at other places before and it was clean but this was my first with VRBO. Furniture was quite old with duct tape. The pull out sofa needs a mattress badly. The screened porch needs a new screen. The air conditioning was fabulous. The river was beautiful and you could see it from the cabin. My first impression was not good because of the condition of the cabin. I was disappointed. I cleaned it up and then we were fine except for the pull-out sofa. Two people could never sleep on that 😒 all in all we had a good time. We did bring our dogs but I swept up after them. The dogs that had been there previously must have been gray in color because their hair was everywhere.

We had a short stay to see and fish the Little Red River. Power generation schedules made it hard to fish directly in front of the cabin - but it is possible! Cabin is in a good location, hearing river is lovely - lighting is dim throughout the rooms.

Fly Fishing Get Away
Went for a couple days of fly fishing, Unfortunately the flows were to high to wade fish in front of the cabin, but had an excellent guide for two additional days to get us into some great fishing on the Little Red!

Very much in need of updates to furniture
We have stayed here several times before and love this piece of property. It has been almost 2 years though since our last stay and the cabin is in need of several minor repairs/updates. Furniture needs updated and replaced. We 100% recommend this space for fishing and enjoying the river.

The property and river were beautiful. The house was ok, semi clean, and in need of a major update of furniture. The main sofa and chair were in awful shape, peeling fabric, and covered with old blankets. The towels and bed linens smelled of mildew. Good location to town, great place for dogs, the porch and river were beautiful. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but because of the conditions of the furniture, I would not rent this cabin again.

Pleasant Get-A-Way
Our overall experience was quite pleasant. One caveat, the microwave glass door was taped into place, and it appeared that the door itself was taped to the main housing. This is a potential health issue. The fishing and access to the river were excellent. The facilities were exactly as depicted in the advertisement. I would welcome the opportunity to visit this location again in the future. Thank you for a pleasant get-a-way!

Fall Break on the Little Red River
We had a great time at this property. It is right on the river and you can wade out to trout fish. The house is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen; however there are no drawers in either bedroom so you have to hang up all your things and the rest has to stay in your suitcase. I know, not a big deal, just something to know if you are going. You might want to bring extra hangers. All in all, it was a great week.

Little Red River Vacation
Had a great time spending the weekend on the Little Red. Fishing was slow, but enjoyed the peace and quiet from everyday life. I would recommend a stay at The Cabin for anyone.

Property needs pest control
We booked this property to celebrate daughter's birthday. It was just OK at first until .... my kids saw roaches, where they were sleeping upstairs in the loft. They did not want to stay/sleep upstairs any longer and we had to make inconvenient adjustments. Contacted the owner and she said she would get pest control ASAP. We did have to leave a day early because we could not enjoy the stay. The bed downstairs isn't comfortable and very bouncy, every time you turn, you wake the other person. The sheets need updating, they are old and have holes in them. The kitchen cookware needs cleaning and updating as well. The property does not have a pier where you can fish from and there are lots of rocks in the river right in front of the property. Bring lots of mosquito spray when you come.

Nice cabin
The cabin was very cute with an amazing view of the Little Red River. The furniture in the living room is definitely due for replacing. My 12 year old was on the couch and when he stood up, the couch was flaking off all over his skin, his clothes, and the floor. The bedding seemed quite used also. My daughter’s bed had sand in it when she went to bed. All in all, the cabin itself is a neat place.

Old and broken
The pictures for the property need to be updated, not what we got. Cabin really needs some work, lot of broken items in the home. Over priced for what we got. Central air was broken called property own and was never fixed or disclose that the air did not work. TV that we were supposed to be able to use did not work the whole time we stayed. Best thing about the trip was the lake. Would not recommend to anyone.

Great Girls Weekend
We loved the location of this cabin! The cabin is cute and the loft was perfect. We wished the back porch had been swept off since we spent much time out there. I was surprised that when I reached out letting our host know of the back door knob falling off and are issue with the downstairs toilet, I received not response. We enjoyed our stay despite these issues. The table is nice and big for a girl friend weekend of games and catchup.

Cabin is cozy and in a beautiful location. Very relaxing experience to stay there. We were kind of disappointed in the cleanliness of the cabin, specifically the floors and the stove. Could use a good cleaning as well as updates on the furniture. We had to change the air filters in house because we woke up after the first night with sinuses hurting. Filters had not been changed since July 2021 according to date on filter and were totally black. Other than these issues we enjoyed our stay.

A Weekend in Paradise
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were enchanted by the cabin and the entire property. We fished, even though it was very cold, but the cabin was toasty warm and just as pleasant as one would want. We loved it there and are even considering going back in the future.

Great stay for a fishing couple!
This cabin was great! The host was amazing- so kind and quick to help with any questions. Accessing the rental was very easy, and it was incredibly clean. We loved the fireplace and having such a great waterfront was perfect for my boyfriend and I. We were able to access multiple fishing spots in the area and enjoyed being able to fly fish in the river without even having to leave the property! It was a wonderful stay! Thank you!
