Noise Consideration
This is a lower-level unit, and while noise is minimal, you may hear occasional footsteps or barking from the owner’s two Pembroke Welsh Corgis upstairs.
WiFi
WiFi is available but may be slower due to the mountainous location. Please plan accordingly if you rely on high-speed internet.
Supplies Provided
Complimentary toiletries, basic cleaning supplies, fresh linens, and towels (4 sets) are included.
Guests should bring their own laundry detergent, streaming service logins, and any specialty kitchen ingredients or tools.
House Rules
No smoking indoors. Smoking is permitted on the patio area but please be considerate of the surroundings.
Quiet hours begin at 10:30 PM to respect the neighbors and the peaceful ambiance.
Parties or events are strictly prohibited. Reservations will be canceled without refund if this rule is violated.

-Smoking is only permitted outside and must be cleaned up afterward. No smoking is allowed inside the property. Reservations will be canceled if this is not adhered to. A fee will be applied for odor removal, steam cleaning, and aeration. There will be no refunds.

Lovely getaway

When our roommates got to be a bit too much, we decided to escape over a long weekend. Picked this vrbo due to its (relative) proximity to hiking and its kitchen, and it was PERFECT. The hosts were amazingly nice and thoughtful. We brought our own baking ingredients and pans, but the kitchen had every kitchen utensil and pan you could want.Truly a lovely oasis to bake some cinnamon rolls in the mountains during a snowstorm.Thank you!

Not what I was expecting.

I booked in a hurry and didn’t read the one review. This suite is basically a nicely done walkout basement of a house built on a steep hill. You are sharing a house and can hear everything that goes on upstairs including their speaker phone calls. It was quiet from about 10pm to 7am. When ever we came back to the unit there was a strong smell. The little kitchen was well laid out and well stocked. .

Friendly folks and (mostly) quiet environs with DHarveyPitt's property

My wife and I found this VRBO during the middle of a work transition, and it was very much what we needed and a great value for the price. The appliances were brand new, the upstairs neighbors were friendly and there was clearly attention to detail in setting up the space. I thought the coffee bar was a fantastic touch in particular and very much enjoyed using the fancy machine! I do have to point out that while everyone was friendly and my wife and I felt our privacy wasn't intruded on, there is a definite transfer of noise from the upstairs unit (beautiful and vocal Corgies live there 😊 ) but it didn't bother us much and only was one morning in the 2 weeks where it was a disruption. Parking is also a little confusing and tight, but also wasn't a big concern (bring your Tesla, or a 1772 adapter if you have a different electric 😉) Overall, great spot in Haymarket for a retreat with gorgeous forest and hill views or as a temporary work layover if noise is not too much of a concern - thanks DaJuan!
