Excellent stay in the center of Old Town
So happy we stayed here on our recent four night trip to Hastings. The property is large and spacious and well furnished. It is very centrally located. After using the buses our first day (with luggage and tired from train travel with three kids and luggage), we relied on our own two feet after that. Easy walk to the Hastings train station without luggage and to anywhere else in the Old Town area and beachfront. The host provided us with a few basic breakfast provisions on arrival which was super nice. The place felt quite cold when we arrived because we were a bit early. Weâre not used to places with radiator heating but give it time and keep the doors closed as instructed and it comes to a good temperature. The property does have two steep staircases inside and stairs up to the front door that would not be suitable for children under 6-7 years of age and probably older people as well (70 maybe)? Just the nature of being an older place. We only had the one kitchen trash bag despite a large role of recycling bags. We didnât realize this until we were trying to clean up for departure. Iâm sure a simple oversight because otherwise everything was great. The bathrooms/toilets/showers as lovely and modern, so no worries about that!
