« The Solway Lodge was a welcoming place to stay. Lovely staff, nice food and a very welcome drink after travelling down from Fife. We stopped off on our way back home. The room was huge, recently renovated, comfortable. We were able to move our car right outside our room which was fab. Thank you. We will be returning. »

« This hotel/inn is probably one of the nicest in the world and stands above all others that we visited on our 12 day road trip through Scotland and England in August 2019. From the reception to the nice and communicative bar atmosphere to the silky linen, the jacuzzi (that worked) and the extraordinary breakfast (eggs Benedict), we felt transported onto a new level of comfort. « Our 1 bedroom apartment was gorgeous. Very spacious and the bed comfy. Only 1 criticism was the heating wasn’t on when we went in and took a while to warm up but this is personal preference really »

« This was an immaculately clean and comfortable stay. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant had a good choice and the chef clearly takes pride in his food- great quality and lots of choice. The breakfast included traditional ootions but also good quality food. We loved the location and would highly recommend the Queens for an overnight or longer stay. We also brought out dog and we were all made to feel very welcome. »

« We had a really nice stay. Food very good. Staff very friendly. The only thing psrking st ti.es was very busy with people parking for thr gym. My hubby has poor mobility and hotel guests using didable bays. We had to park right over the other side of the car park. Other than that a lovely stay »
