Definitely recommend if you're visiting this stunning part of England – they will help with guidance for walks and dark skies star spotting etc. »

« This hotel/inn is probably one of the nicest in the world and stands above all others that we visited on our 12 day road trip through Scotland and England in August 2019. From the reception to the nice and communicative bar atmosphere to the silky linen, the jacuzzi (that worked) and the extraordinary breakfast (eggs Benedict), we felt transported onto a new level of comfort. « We stopped for 1 night. The rooms were absolutely spotless, had everything you needed for a B&B. We were able to check in sooner than 3pm. the food was lovely. Great location, there was a hotel with a bar within about a 15 min walk. The couple who own it were really friendly. Weve already booked up to go back in june. »

« Stayed here while we walked part of Hadrians wall. Ideal base. Beautiful barn conversation. The owners left us wine , biscuits and scones on arrival which was lovely. Would definitely stay here again »
