« They converted what appeared to be a former business, and it was fabulous! Plenty of beds, a kitchen with everything, an outdoor gas firepit, 3 tvs, and an indoor hot sauna were just some of the featues. A group would love this space, although there is just one (nice) bathroom. I'd definitely stay here again! Close to Houghton or Torch Lake / Hubbelll (7 miles) if you are taking the seaplane to Isle Royale. »

« It is a great property and an amazing location! We spend an awesome time here. Even though the house is not large, it is very cozy, convenient, spacious and a huge benefit to have three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. For our family, it was a huge plus to be able to have our dogs with us too! « Beautiful property outside of Houghton with lovely outdoor seating to enjoy nature. House was very clean and well equipped. You are a bit out of town. The listing says Atlantic Mine, but it seems more like Liminga area so plan to drive 15 minutes to restaurants and groceries. The exception was Schmidt's Corner which is 2 miles away and good for dinner and drinks. Overall enjoyable stay. »

« The area is so quiet and peaceful. We slept incredibly well. Dragonfly cottage is so cute and tastefully updated. Each room had unique touches. There were plenty of pillows and towels for everyone. The kitchen had all of the necessary cooking implements. We loved being so close to Lake Superior! There were great recommendations for local restaurants that did not disappoint. « This was a super convenient and affordable place for our group to stay during MTU graduation weekend. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for all 5 of us - ages 17 to 87. We did not spend a lot of time there, but it served our needs very well. »

« We were in for our daughter’s graduation from MTU and this was the perfect place for my husband and I and our two daughters plus my mother in law. Spacious kitchen was nice for making food to serve at my daughter’s house, grill for when we ate at the house. Comfortable couches and beds. »

« This is a beautiful modern house on a long, long stretch of golden sand beach. The house has tons of windows and high ceilings so you feel like you are outdoors. It is a two level house so is perfect for larger family or just a couple (one bedroom on the main floor). It’s minutes from a boat launch. There are also smaller inland lakes nearby. The hosts are very nice folks. There is a lot to do in the area in spite of the feeling of being remote. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! »

« Had a great time at the cottage. The place was clean and had the essentials to feel at home - grill, firepit, kitchen tools. We really enjoyed taking our boat out, caught some fish, and soaked up some sun. Will strongly consider staying here again for our next trip to yooperland! »

« Overall the house was decent. Very spacious and sprawling. There was no possible way we would have been able to fit sled trailers there, although told we could, 3 trucks didn’t even fit comfortably. Cleanliness could have been better. Bathrooms were “old dirt” dirty. Kitchen was pretty bad especially the fridge/ freezer. Biggest disappointment was no functioning hot tub.
