Laundry facilities include a washing machine, clothes airer and outdoor drying line. Free parking on the driveway, plus on-street.



Guest Access:

You'll have the whole house to yourselves - all three bedrooms, the full bathroom and additional toilet, the kitchen, dining and living areas, the games-room garage and the spa pool. Laundry facilities and free driveway parking are all included.



The Neighborhood:

Cozy Lake Retreat sits in the peaceful Hamurana community on the northern shore of Lake Rotorua, directly across the road from a lakeside walkway and bike trail - a lovely spot for a leisurely stroll, a ride or a quiet sunset, with a playground and boat ramp a short walk along the lake. Just two minutes up the road is Hamurana Springs, home to one of New Zealand's largest natural springs and a beautiful grove of redwoods with gentle walking tracks. For a meal, a coffee or an evening drink, the much-loved Okere Falls Store and its craft beer garden is about 15 minutes away, and Ngongotaha village has everyday essentials a short drive south. Skyline's gondola and luge, Canopy Tours and Zorb are around 12 minutes away, with the lakefront hot pools at Polynesian Spa and Wai Ariki Spa, Te Puia and the Redwoods Forest all a comfortable drive on - relaxation and adventure in easy reach.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended, as public transport is limited in Hamurana - there's free parking on the driveway and on the street. Hamurana Springs is just 2 minutes up the road and Okere Falls Store about 15. Skyline, Canopy Tours and Zorb are around 12 minutes away, the lakefront, Polynesian Spa, Wai Ariki Spa and Te Puia around 20, the Redwoods roughly 25, and Rotorua Airport about 20 minutes around the lake. Rotorua's city centre is a comfortable drive south.



Other Things to Note:

WIFI runs at around 105 Mbps. Cozy Lake Retreat is on the main road through Hamurana, and the section has an enclosed, gated fence for security and privacy - please supervise children at all times, especially near the road and the lake.
