The owner is very responsive. For my purposes the location was excellent. Just minutes from the beach as well as shopping and restaurants and yet located in a quiet peaceful neighborhood.

I would not stay at this location again. While it was a good house in a nice area, the details of being a short term rental were missed. Upon arriving it was clear that the grass had not been cut in a long time. We realized once inside that the house hadnā€™t been cleaned lately. It was dusty, dirty dishes were in the dishwasher, there was trash under the couch & a sippy cup was left on one of the beds. Also, we were not given paper towels, ice/ice trays, hand soap in the bathrooms, an iron or extra trash bags. Our reservation was for 7 people: only 6 towels were provided. Again, nice house overall, but the extras were missed.

I came down to Virginia for a friends weekend getaway to celebrate a birthday. We had chosen this property since it seemed to be cozy and in a commutable location for all the activities we planned. We arrived late on a Friday night and the entry way was not lit at all and the neighborhood is sketchy and dark. For three women, it felt very unsafe. We stayed hopeful but after inspecting the inside, we were immediately disappointed. Everything was dirty and used. The bedding had stains and crumbs, some beds only had the bottom fitted sheet, no top sheets or comforters. We found a beer bottle cap on the floor. The window curtains were crooked and broken. All the cleaning supplies were there, very old and used (including the kitchen sponge which was falling apart). There were even shoes in the closet, nothing was organized. At the end of the night, we thought of sleeping on the couch, but the couches were stained too! It was very disappointing, I did not feel safe and was disgusted with the amount of filth. We decided to call Vrbo customer service for a refund and booked a hotel instead. Never again!

The house fit our need of 1 story, 2 bedrooms, and 2 baths. Some items have needed to be repaired for months ( based on previous reviews). House was clean. At check in, there was such a strong odor of whatever cleaner was used. After 30 minutes, l had a headache. The odor was gone the next morning. I would stay there sgain.

Check-in and entrance easy. Very spacious and clean. (Except spider webs outside) Everything worked TV, washer/dryer, WiFi stove etc . Would definitely rent again.

Local to several things to do, i.e., outlets, golfing, beaches, parks, dining, colosseum, etc. the photos don't do the house any justice. The place is absolutely beautiful. There are a couple bumps and bruises, or were if they've been fixed, I'm not sure. But the small issues were no match for the great price and the location of the home. Our family had a blast and the property manager was easy to get ahold of. Wonderful experience and highly recommend šŸ˜Š

First thing we noticed upon arriving was that the top of the light house in the driveway was broken off and setting in front of the garage door on the ground. We walk into having to clean the whole house. table and counters were dirty. Inside fridge door, all shelves were broken. Blinds in bedroom and living room were broken. Both king mattresses had no mattress protectors on them and were completely stained with urine and blood. Bathroom door appeared to have been kicked in and broken. Tried to wash the linens but the washer was broken. Internet was not available as advertised And last but not least, the AC stopped working while we were there. By the time we got things settled with VRBO it was 9pm and had to find our own place to stay for the rest of our week.

The listing was clean and had everything we needed. Neighborhood was clean and quiet. Host was very responsive and accommodated our stay to our needs. We would recommend this listing to anyone and everyone. Thereā€™s a fire pit in the back yard, a deck with a charcoal grill, hot tub was amazing, and we didnā€™t see any bugs or roaches or creepy crawlers during our entire stay. Hot water and good water pressure!

Beds were comfortable, jacuzzi and large shower in the Master Bedroom was a plus! Kitchen was very functional as we stayed in for breakfast each morning. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future! Just wished we had better weather during our visit (rained all weekend)!

The place was infested with roaches! Had to get a hotel and cut our vacation short because they didnt have a room for the whole vacation. Not refunded whole amount. Not very accommodating. Never had a problem before. Spraying one time does not get rid of a infestation. Thanks for a ruined vacation

We stayed here for a long weekend trip to visit family in Norfolk and to explore the Hampton/VA Beach/Norfolk area. It was the perfect size for our family and a great location for all the activities we did! The host responded quickly to any of my messages and was very delightful. I will say, if he is using a professional cleaning company, he should definitely look for a new one. We found several old food wrappers shoved under beds, behind sofa pillows, and we had to clean the fan in the master bedroom b/c there was a good amount of dust hanging from the blades. The house surfaces were clean but there could have been more attention paid to detail. Other than that, it was a great stay!
