DÉCEVANT!!! L’hôtel est délabré, très vieux. Pas insonorisé du tout. Dans la rue d’en bas, c’est la fête tous les soirs du week-end, les personnes crient, font du bruit avec leur voiture, des bagarres, la police, … On n’a pas dormi du tout. Dès le hall d’entrée c’est la déception. Rideaux délavés, tapis moisis, murs sales. Ça ne vaut pas du tout un 4 étoiles. C’est plutôt un motel. Il faut absolument revoir le classement de cet « hôtel ».

Je n'y retournerai plus jamais.
Désolé de dire que nous avons été désagréablement surpris par cet hôtel. Les photos publiées sur le site ne sont pas à jour. L’hôtel est vieux, pas forcément bien entretenu, notre chambre immense était correcte sans plus avec des murs sâles. La moquette sens mauvais, notre chambre faisait face à des cuisines de restaurant bruyantes avec vue sur un mur. L'arrière de l’hôtel est affreux, le garage est bordélique, le couloir d'accès entre l'arrière du bâtiment et la réception sentait mauvais. Très très déçu. Nous étions en fin de séjour. Heureusement que c'était pour une nuit seulement. Le personnel est sympathique, c'est tout.

Trés bon hotel en plein centre ville d'Hamilton.

It’s a great old place, loads of room and charm. We stayed Saturday night and the whole neighbourhood was rocking, great if you want to be in the centre of the action, if not you should ask for a room round the back, it may be quieter

Good location and lovely bones but showing lots of signs that it's not being well maintained. Poor parking facilities, plumbing not working well, lift weight limit reduced and it bangs and shudders during operation, broken mirrors, worn carpets etc. It's still nice but it needs work.

No in house bar or dinning. Room key had to be reprogrammed daily even though the stay was multiple days. Found four items under bed plus had not seen a vacuum in ages. Over priced for tarrif. Bath/shower was a nightmare accident waiting too Happen. Noise from street until 4am both nights. Fighting oposite, traffic noise. A tired and run down hotel. Bed covers badly stained. Two adjoining restaurants back entrances opened into the Hotel reception area even though the Hotel Main door was lock coded for guest entrance after 10pm. Car parking and terraces close when reception closes At 10pm. But these 2 restaurants have access to hotel areas after 10pm when no hotel staff are present. This is a security risk for Hotel patrons. The stairs and lift are not key carded so the entire upper floors are accessible . On the plus side convenient to downtown if you do not have your own transportation. Walkable to Cafès, restaurants.and Casino.

L’hôtel est ancien, et vieillot ,nous n’étions pas bien placés, le logement était en bas des escaliers, d’où la difficulté de descendre les marches compte tenu de notre opération du genou à 2’personnes sur 3, le personnel avec un accueil moyen,… en gros nous n’étions pas satisfaits. Par contre l’avantage que l’hôtel est bien placé. Je ne le recommande pas. Je laisse les clients le tester.

Other guests were inconsiderate not keeping their noise levels low A little consideration goes a long way 😞 Staff were friendly enough I just struggled with the fact while booking us in they were talking in their own language

The hotel and staff were lovely. Very helpful receptionist. The room was good, spacious and the kids loved the very squishy beds! A little dated in parts but did us for the night. The walls are very thin and you could hear everything the neighbour was doing from watching their TV to them even coughing (and other bodily functions)! Outside was very noisy but this was to be somewhat expected with the location of the hotel (near the bar/club district) and that it was a Friday night however the constant revving of a motorbike or car engine at 3am was not pleasant. Over all was OK and we have booked to come back

I It was okay nothing out if the ordinary, basically just another hotel. Not happy about the fact nowhere meantioned a bond payment which left my partner and I without the ability to do anything for our 2 night stay! Will not be back

although the room was clean .Constant sound of water running in the room but wasnt our bathroom, must have freshly painted as there was smell of paint that caused two of us to have headaches unable to discuss this with anyone on departure as no one at the front desk at 8am guessing they left because of the stench we could smell...a sewage blockage, was not pleasant. Tanker was out the back clearing where we had to exit, back door open allowing smell to waft past restaurants open doors and into the lobby, some distance away, had to watch where we were steping. disappointing as this in its daywas a very grand hotel when it was le Grand. however for the $116 for the night I guess you get what you pay for.
