De lokatie is schitterend, echt een outback experience. Het eten ook geweldig. Het was bijzonder donker in onze Cabin, er vloog een vleermuis door de kamer, om in de badkamer te komen moest je buitenom. Iedereen schrijft lyrisch over de wandeling met de Wildlife man. Het is absoluut een karaktervolle man, maar hij was niet aardig en hoorde zichzelf bijzonder graag. Veel geleerd, maar dat was echt een teleurstelling. Ook was mij niet duidelijk wat er verder misschien allemaal nog mogelijk was aan activiteiten. Gemiste kans!

Nothing short of exceptional! The property is stunning, the owners are warm and hospitable, the food is delicious and the cabin had a comfortable bed, air conditioning and all the amenities you could need! Couldn’t recommend the station enough for an authentic outback station experience with the comforts and thoughtful touches. We will return again one day!

The accommodation was unique. The road to the tin hut from the homestead could be improved. Staff were lovely. Complimentary bush breakfast (damper and jam) would be a nice addition to the experience. Amazing sunset and rock formations everywhere. Enjoyed our stay.

Welcoming and relaxing
Very welcoming and hospitable hosts. Dinner and breakfast were really nice. The room was very unique and comfortable. Very relaxing to sit on our own patio and watch all the zebra finches.

We had a fantastic stay in the log cabin. We stayed in winter and the indoor fire was great. The walks around the property are wonderful and we enjoyed dinner there too. Take the road in slow and steady and you'll love it!

Fantastic place to visit
This was a unique special stay .. stayed in the log cabin which is actually that. Fireplace amazing claw door bath and the property itself is incredible! Restaurant onsite was lovely as well!. Lots of walks and things to explore at the station and a fantastic sunset lookout !

This place is about 15min drive from Alice Springs but well worth drive and a much better feel for the outback than in Alice springs. Nice, quite and relaxing. Wish we would have stayed longer

We loved everything about this lovely place. From the iconically Australian sweeping views and Rocky Mountain outcrops to the warm hospitality of our hosts, it was everything we could have wanted. Our little cottage (stone cottage) was delightfully appointed with thoughtful touches. Thanks to the second seperate room (hilariously, the “jail”), my children had their own space which left my his and and I time to recharge and relax after a week on the road in the outback. With beautiful billabongs to explore and vast mountains to climb the kids were never bored, and thanks to the well-stocked wine selection my husband I were equally well looked after. Dinner at the homestead was delightful and generous. We are so glad we chose to stay here and can not wait to return.

For those prepared to travel outside of Alice Springs the rewards are huge. The setting and experience of staying on this homestead are unique.

Outback pur in luxuriösen Cabins
Zwar nur über lange, teilweise holprige Naturstrasse zu erreichen, offenbart sich eine halbe Stunde ausserhalb Alice Springs ein wahrer Luxus mitten im Outback. Einzigartige Cabins in absoluter Ruhe und nachts ein Sternenhimmel bis zum Boden verwöhnen die wenigen Gäste ebenso wie die grossartigen Kochkünste der Chefin. Für Liebhaber des Outbacks eine überzeugende Alternative zum lärmigen Alice Springs.

Ein einmaliger Ort mit sehr freundlichen Gastgebern. Wir fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Das Cottage ist mit viel Liebe fürs Detail eingerichtet. Die Ruhe und die Ambiente des Homestead sind Balsam nach dem touristischen Rummel im Red Center. Unsere wärmste Empfehlung für diesen magischen Ort.

Beautiful property, quirky cottages, lovely log fire in the Stone Cottage but cold at night - an electric blanket and extra blankets for the bed would have been appreciated. Table service for dinner slow. Food very nice.
