« This was a lovely place to spend a night catching up with some family--it was a meeting point for us coming from different directions. The rural-ish but neighborhoody surroundings, and the beautiful canal and walking paths along it, were lovely and relaxing. A nice respite from the city. The house itself was cute and homey. « Emily and Chuck are fantastic hosts and the Dome was a great place to stay. Had come to finish riding the C&O canal trail, some hiking and visiting DC. The Dome is very quiet. Got to see hummingbirds visit their feeder multiple times and cardinals and purple finches coming to the seed feeder. Also got to see multiple deer, rabbits and butterflies. « We have stayed here before in 2024. The Linden Chalet is quiet, surrounded by beautiful tall oak trees and is a MUST for a chillaxing vacay. Everything we could need was there in place. I wanted for nothing! And, the host kept up with quick texts and daily checked with us to make sure we were experience a fantastic stay...and WE DID! I will certainly rent this home again.
