Séjour de dernière minute très agréable !
Hôtel luxueux dans la capitale du Guatemala, à seulement 10min de l’aéroport, pour un prix très correcte en comparaison en Europe ! Chambres très spacieuses avec salle de bain privée et baignoire douche. Le balcon aménagé est un plus super agréable. Wifi disponible, frigo en chambre, plusieurs restaurants et bars dans l’hôtel. La piscine et son bain à remous sont très appréciables. Le personnel est très gentil. L’hôtel propose un service de navette gratuite pour l’aéroport.

Un grand hôtel avec un grand lobby : parking inclus, plusieurs petites boutiques vendant tissus, bijoux etc guatemalteques 2-3 bars dispos (sports bar, lobby bar) plutôt agréable Restaurant de qualité cependant tres moyen (que ce soit le dîner buffet (tout au plus un flinch mais en plus cher) ou le petit déjeuner (un peu mieux mais rien d exceptionnel) Salle de sport dispo bien que qq équipements pourraient être changés Chambre plutôt tres bien

Nous y avions passé 3 nuits début septembre et une fin septembre pour être proche de l'aéroport. Je n'ai pas apprécié le fait de payer 148 gtq pour 2 petits déjeuners pour 2 personnes et cette dernière nuit, alors qu'il n'y avait aucun changement on m'a réclamé 218 gtq pour nos 2 petits déjeuners.

Ultimately, My stay at Barceló proved to be one of my worst stays at any hotel ever. I’ve stayed at hotels that had worse rating but it wasn’t as bad as the stay at Barceló. First, I’d like to say that watch what you leave in your room. My AirPods were taken from my room. When I told hotel staff about the issue they initiated an investigation making comments stating you might have misplaced them, although in the tapes the last location my AirPods were seen was my room. Secondly, We had reserved a second room as we needed the room for my sister to get ready for a party. I walked the individuals up to my room, left to my other room. When my mom exited the room, The hotel reception blocked the card. When my mom went to go tell reception to activate the card again they took it from her and told her no. I of course went downstairs immediately and told them that they had no right to dictate who come in or out of my room that was paid for. The reception gave attitude the entire time, completely unprofessional. The breakfast at this hotel is lackluster at best, it doesn’t have any flavor and isn’t special. Strikers is outdated and the food is simple bar food. The facilities are outdated, appealing to those 60 years plus but for someone who is young like me is completely outdated. I highly do not recommend this hotel when choosing your next stay within Guatemala.

We loved the colonial environment in the hotel. It was beautifully and tastefully decorated. But the rooms were a disappointment. We had asked for a King superior and were given a room with 2 queens. There was no coffee maker, microwave or fridge which one would expect in a hotel of this quality. We did appreciate the shuttle taking us to the airport and their variety of dining areas, especially the buffet.

The Hotel is beautiful with a colonial air to it and lots of plants and flowers. We loved the buffet. Were disappointed in the rooms. There was no coffee maker for early morning and no microwave or fridge which a hotel of this quality would normally have. We had booked a king superior room but only rooms with 2 queens were available.
