Service au top, personnel toujours souriant et agréable, parle français, large choix au petit dejeuner, 3 piscines dont une reserver aux adultes qui permet de se détendre dans le calme, 5 mn a pied de la plage de kalamaki, chambre spacieuse et service permettant de garder les valises le dernier jours en attendant notre vol, J’ai adoré mon séjour au sein de l’hotel Marelen ! Je recommande

L'hôtel en lui même est bien, les piscines, le petit-déjeuner ainsi que le personnel ont été corrects. Mais nous avons eu une grosse déception au niveau de notre chambre, plus particulièrement au niveau de la salle de bain. Pour avoir de l'eau chaude nous devions attendre une bonne dizaine de minutes, de plus celle-ci avait un goût de chlore. Nous avons signalé plusieurs fois le soucis à la réception, sans grand changements. La chambre était également très humide, nous avons très mal dormi. Nous payons quand même le prix de la chambre assez chère. Nous restons déçus.

Très bon hôtel confortable et proche de la mer ( la plage est jolie, durant notre séjour du lundi au mercredi pas bondee). Bon petit dejeuner buffet. Piscine sympa, les 2 ados se sont bien amusés . Jardins environnants bien entretenus. A proximité une sorte de fête foraine amusante pour les jeunes et les enfants. WiFi payant dans les chambres , free WiFi seulement dans la zone dining. Après les environs restent touristiques mais raisonnablement et bien pour les familles

We've just returned home from an absolutely wonderful 10 night stay at this hotel. All of the friendly staff work very hard and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. There was a great variety of hot and cold food at breakfast, which we enjoyed every day. The hotel grounds and gardens are beautifully well maintained. We also loved the separate pool for adults only, which offered a peaceful retreat. The hotel's location is perfect for access to the nearby beach and the main Kalamaki 'strip', with a great choice of restaurants, bars and supermarkets. We will definitely be back to the Merelen Hotel!

Property had everything we needed. Breakfast was a buffet with 8 large stations (all type of options). 5 minute walk from the beach (no rocks at all and the beach was so shallow you could swing out quite a distance). Cabs were pretty accessible with short wait times, 10 min walk from one of the strips with plenty of restaurant and shopping options. 10 minute cab ride to the airport

Entspannte angenehme Atmosphäre
Ankunft verspätet abend, man hat uns Essen im Zimmer bereitgestellt, was wir phenomenal fanden. Zimmer etwas klein und teils renoviert aber ausreichend für einen entspannten urlaub. Von der Rezeption bis zum Jeden Angestellten waren alle sehr aufmerksam und nett. Man spürt in diesem Hotel die Familiäre ausgelassenheit. Die ganze Hotelanlage wird regelmässig gepflegt und es ist sauber. Das Essen ist zu jeden Zeitpunkt frisch und sehr gut. Einziges Manko ist, dass man ob Handtücher oder Strsndtücher alle zwei Tage ausgewechselt bekommt.

Situated nice calm location
Situated nice quiet location with only 2-3 walk from the Kalamaki beach. Hotel was nice and clean and facilities were good. And breakfast and dinner was great. Only thing is that the cocktail bar opens in the evening the cocktail drink were NOT good at all and expensive compared to other places. Think they should just sell alcohols apart from cocktails... But overall I had goodd experience withvthis resort

This is a very nice hotel. Only a few minutes drive from the airport but the airplanes are not bothering you. Nice property with lovely gardens and spacious balconies. The restaurant and the pool area was also nice. Staff was very friendly. The rooms were okey. Beds a bit hard with high pillows and bathrooms a bit small. A close walk to a very nice beach where you can rent sunbeds for a good price. There is also a good restaurant right by the beach. Was good to visit with children.

Brilliant hotel great location. Best part me and my family was the food we did half bord and was he best buffet food we have ever had. So fresh and different every night. The only down fall was the planes going over the hotel But you do get use to it. Overall brilliant hotel our first holiday with our toddler we would definitely return. Thank you

Staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time. Location wise, its close to the airport but there are only a couple planes a day so you rarely hear noise. The breakfast buffet has an amazing selection of food. Very much recommend and would stay there again if I visit Zante again!

Nieco z dala od centrum, ale blisko plaży.
Rezerwowaliśmy pokój a dostaliśmy upgrade do apartamentu z 2 sypialniami. Resort zadbany, czysty, mielismy wszystko, co potrzeba, by wypocząć. Obsługa w recepcji bardzo miła i chętna do pomocy. Przy pożegnaniu czuliśmy się jak przyjaciele domu - było bardzo serdecznie i aż żal było odjeżdżać.

Good value close to the airport
Staff were very helpful at check-in, they recognised my Gold status and applied the benefits. Hotel is at the end of the airport runway and certain rooms may be noisy in height of summer. I ate at the buffet restaurant which was fine for both dinner and breakfast. Good hotel with nice service at a reasonable price can really fault it

It waa really nice. Just one thing: they did not clean the room every day and we took the trash out by ourselves. And the guy at the dinner buffet called Dennis always makes you wait.

Thank you for your 8/10 score of your stay with us. The rooms are cleaned 7 days per week, it's a shame you have posted the review anonymously so we cannot check our cleaning records. Due to the covid-19 protocols, the guests at the dinner buffet need to be spaced out to avoid overcrowding for our guests safety. We hope to see you again at the Marelen.

We stayed 2 weeks at the hotel with 2 kids. The place is very okay for the discount price we paid and eventhough the location is very close to the airport there is a nice beach nearby at walking distance as well as the main road. The check-in was not as we expected as the belly boy was not that friendly and didn't offer to help us take the luggage as he did for other guests. The room they initially gave us had a very small shower so different from the photos we saw when we booked and was close to the parking. They moved us to another room with a renovated shower but still there was no Wifi in the room and as a matter fact both room didn't. They didn't fix it after we told them but since we were close to the pool where there was wifi we gave up on that. I don't recommend taking half board if you're staying longer than 3 days as you'll very quickly get bored by the selection and the quality of the food. It's basically average and anything other than Greek food is not well done. Dessert is limited and they use always same ingredients but change the look. Fruit is not always fresh and it's mostly watermelon and pineapple. The staff cleaning the tables are looking every 2minutes to take the plates which becomes very annoying especially when they are ina rush and sometimes you haven't even finished.It was quite busy everyday so there was a lineup. There isn't any lifeguard at the pool or any entertainment show for the kids nor a gym so I advise you to rent a car during your stay.

Brilliant Location
Had the most amazing time at Marelen Hotel and will be looking to stay here again. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel couldn't have a better location being just a short walk from the main centre with all the restaurants and bars as well as only being 250 metres from the beach.

The hotel is excellent and we had a great stay. All the staff are helpful, friendly and very welcoming without being intrusive. They really work hard and especially with the current covid situation the staff take yours and their health really seriously, at no point did we feel at risk or that we were putting anyone else at risk. The food is fantastic, we had breakfast and the buffet. The staff serve you the food from the breakfast and evening buffet selections and you just choose what you want. We spent days relaxing by the main pool which has a great snack bar and when the kids did their own thing we went to the adult pool which is amazing. There is also a great kids pool for the younger ones. Very near the lovely sandy beach just 2 minutes walk away. I highly recommend this hotel we had a perfect holiday and will definitely go back.

The hotel is beautiful. 3 swimmingpools. clean, hotel staff is very friendly. the work in this corona time is not easy but they do everything possible. It is a familiehotel. the whole family works together. it is nice to see that grandmother is around in the morning and evening with always a smile and with a great hospitality mind. everybody works hard and is willing to help where possible. They follow the corona measures very good. compliments therefore. We felt really save. food is good. enough choice. rooms are clean. good location to beach.
