« My parents are buried in Horning, so Norfolk has lots of memories. I decided I wanted to celebrate my 60th in Winterton on Sea. We’ve stayed in various cottages in the area, but Larner’s Lodge was by far the best bungalow. We had to stay in the Fisherman’s Return on our first night, so took a sneaky peak at the outside of Larner’s Lodge later that day. Situated down a private driveway, set in a very pleasant location. The bungalow was clean, spacious the perfect place to stay for my 60th....

« We enjoyed our stay and the property was in a good location for us, a short walk from the beach and Bus stops so we didn't need to worry about finding parking. Our only problem was that the stairs are quite steep and, being retired and not in the best of health, my husband struggled with that. »

We spent a total of 4 nights here and our stay was amazing, the house has easy access to the seafront and the high street which are all in a 5 minute walking distance which makes it a great place to stay for families, but just as a comment it could do with some grass in the garden for dogs. « The cottage is within a short walk of the sea, the beach is accessible via a steep path after approximately ten minutes. There is a bench to sit on and admire the view of the sea if you don’t fancy the steep path. The cottage itself was spacious, 3 nice bedrooms with the comfiest beds I’ve slept in for a long time. A decent bathroom with a bath and overhead shower and wc. There is also a separate room with a stand alone shower cubicle. The kitchen supplies were brilliant with plenty of crockery...

« We stayed here for Christmas 2023 and really enjoyed our stay. The house is conveniently located in the village of Rollsby, in a quiet location but still close enough to the main roads leading to supermarkets, pubs and other local attractions. Communication from the owners was both helpful and thoughtful. The house was furnished with everything we needed for our stay (and loads more!) and we were grateful that the owners had also put in the extra effort of adding a Christmas tree, fully laid...

« The house is exactly as advertised, and communication with owner Helen was easy. She answered all our questions so quickly. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the location is close to an outstanding chippy and only a short walk from the high street. I cannot recommend it enough! »

« I stayed here for work and found it a perfect location. Steve was very good with communication and answering all my questions. The room was very modern with lots of gadgets which could be a little tricky but once you got the hang of it was all ok. I stayed 4 nights and looked to re book the same room the following week but unfortunately it had gone. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. »
