Châteaux à Great Sacandaga Lake

« Endroit très sympathique, beaucoup de cachet, un vieil hotel plein de charme, très bien entretenu. Plusieurs améliorations apportées pour augmenter le confort. Restaurant attenant très apprécié. »

« Would not check us in. Made my kids sleep in the lobby. »

« Très bruyant, les lumières en tremblaient et malgré une plainte à la réception rien n'a changé. »

« All around just a cute little place. Very clean and perfect with the fenced in yard for our dogs. This however, does not seem like a side road. Very fast traffic. Busy with motorcycles and racing cars. We walked our pups down to the beach just once to find out it is not pet friendly none of the beaches around there were so that put a bit of a damper on our trip.We will be back next time without them »

« Owner was extremely nice and accommodating. We had expected to have dinner there but they were not serving. »

« The property served our needs for a one night stay in Caroga Lake. Finding the place was a bit of a nightmare. We had no wireless service in the area and the host did not provide very good directions. As we had no cell phone service, we could not call the host. We ended up going to the pist office and we were fortunate that a gentleman who was picking up his mail helped direct us to the unit otherwise we would have never found it. The unit was a bit rustic for my wife’s taste. Also, there were...

« Perfect stay near family. We were able to stay 2 lovely nights in this beautiful home. Comfortable double bed with washer and dryer. King size bed in the master. Upstairs and downstairs bathroom was convenient. »

« Overall, we enjoyed our stay. But the outdoors needs work. Positive: -Easy Check-in, they even let us arrive an hour early. -Inside was clean, inviting and stocked with towels.-Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed except sharp knives, but I picked up a sharpener and left it for the next guests. -The indoor space was as described. -The outside front porch was cleanNegative: -The "Steps" to the dock are a huge accident waiting to happen. The rocks are loose and there are no longer steps...

« Beautiful place in a beautiful area. Great communication and responsiveness by host. Amenities as described. Would highly recommend. »

« Great accommodations for any getaway. There is enough to do right at the Pulpit House, you don't even need to plan other entertainment. Our family has stayed in many VRBO rentals and this is by far our favorite, just because of the convenience and atmosphere. There is dining and a small convenience store in very short walking distance, as well as a park for children. We highly recommend a stay here, and plan to return. »

« Lit confortable Grand frigo avec une partie congélateur Micro-ondes dans la chambre On a même pu recharger notre voiture durant la nuit avec prise extérieur sur le bâtiment. Déjeuner inclus: basique mais pratique ( muffin, jus, croissant déjeuner style mc muffin) ca fait la job pou un déjeuner rapide comme nous avions besoin Situè proche de l’autoroute »

« Beautiful. Very quiet and private. Pictures didn't do it justice. A great weekend getaway for us and the pups! »
