« We had a lovely stay in apartment eight. Which is always very spic and span. It’s disabled friendly, which is I have balance problems suits me well. The walk in shower was especially helpful. We enjoyed a walk out and a couple of cycles. The community orchard on the way was fascinating. Sadly you can’t book the weather, but enjoyed ourselves nonetheless.
We would thoroughly recommend Howgills Appartments. »

« We enjoyed our stay at Kotel. Good location, good wifi connection. However we would have liked to have had an electric hob as with only a microwave cooking was rather limited. Also not easy to wash up as no plug in the sink. Fortunately there was an ice bucket I could use to wash up!!!. Crockery was also limited to 2 sets only. Had to check with staff on site re disposal of our rubbish as bins not very big. It would also be good that the Kotel staff supply a brush and dustpan for sweeping up the...

« Was a nice and easy check in, very nice place and spacious enough, had everything we’d need.. only problem was the lack of cleanliness. Cob webs everywhere, dust and debris on the chairs and in creases of the bedroom suede walls, spiders in corners and cutlery provided has old food hardened within the cuts of the forks as it hasn’t been cleaned properly and left. Toilet also splashes water all over the seat when flushing causing the lid to be splattered with toilet water after every flush. »

« This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. « Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. What a find, from the moment I found The Rockefeller on Expedia to arrival through to the end of the stay everything was the best!!
Not going to gointo much detail as wouldn’t want to ruin anybody else’s experience but I will say you won’t be disappointed, everything about the apartment is funky, design led and luxurious from the furnishings to the artwork and even the kitchen and bathroom are of the highest spec.
