« Lovely room, spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed
Nice size bathroom with complimentary soaps, shampoos etc
All rooms on first floor so could be an issue if you have mobility problems
Royal hotel bar/ restaurant quite busy so would recommend booking if you want to dine in. Food quality was excellent and a great service given.
Decent size car park across the road, always found a space to park even when it was busy in the bar

« Did a quick 1 night stop over. Would stay here again staff helpful and friendly. Plenty of entertainment on all day and a band on in the evening. Food was very good and breakfast as you would expect. Even the price was ok »
« Lovely Hotel in the heart of village with super friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble and we were even given an upgrade on arrival! We will definitely be going back at some point. Thank you so much đ »

« The property is a lovely place that has kept its unique original features. The Victorian facades and interior are refreshingly maintained. The staff are all very welcoming and genuinely friendly. Well located in a rural spot but 5 minutes walk into town, via the sea front promenade. »
« Easy to find. Staff friendly. Although the room felt tired it was clean comfortable and had everything you needed, however as a light sleeper a blackout blind would be welcome. We had a evening meal was absolutely delicious and we would recommend. Would stay here again »

Our room, although not huge, was clean, with crisp, white bed linen on a very comfy bed, and with lovely views of the pretty village church. Although warned about the frequent bell ringing, it did not disturb us in any way. Nice, white towels were provided in the shower room. Lucy and her team couldn't have been more welcoming, efficient, and helpful. It was convenient to be able to enjoy our evening...
