« You should know what you're getting by the price. It's not the Four Seasons. It's a decades old building with the bare minimum in terms of amenities. But it's in the heart of beautiful downtown Gaylord. We stayed a full week and enjoyed our stay. »

« This is the first time I've booked a hotel that "nagged" guests to leave early. I rented (2) rooms; one for me and one for my adult son. Our rooms were on the second floor, which we didn't mind at all. I'm unsure if there was an elevator, as the front desk person didn't specify. « This is a historic place visited by the likes of Henry Ford, filled with fishing memorabilia on the walls, that is a great choice for a group (or family) who wish to test their skills on the Au Sable or other local trout streams Terry and the other staff were wonderful. The suite I stayed in, one of two with their own bath rooms, was commodious. It's well located on the north branch of the Au Sable, and only about 25 minutes from Grayling. »

« Pools were not maintained supposed to be heated and was not. One of the hot tubs was ice cold. One of the outdoor pools were unusable with green water. The indoor outdoor pool was cold and full of pollen. This cement around the pool was all cracked and broken with large chunks missing with rugs over the cracks which I thought was a big hazard.
