« Spark is an easy, no frills place to stay for an overnight stay. Esmee at the front desk was sweet and helpful. The room was clean and fit our needs. My only complaint is "No Elevator". The first floor rooms were full so our only option was the second floor. It was very hot and lugging our cases up wasn't pleasant. »

« This is not a fancy-schmancy hotel but it was perfect for a birder on a budget and had everything I needed at half the price of the place up the street. Well, almost everything - a blow dryer would have made it perfect! The check-in dude was funny and helpful and there's an EV charging station just down the street so I'd definitely stay here again. But think about adding blow dryers. Even birders like to look their best! »

« We really enjoyed our stay, the room was very clean and the bed confortable. The only problem was the significant gap under the door that let insects through. We ended up having an earwig in the bath tub and I woke up with one on my arm. Other than that, it was clean and quiet. The staff was very nice. »

« Great home base for Oroville Lake. We stayed two nights. Place is easy to get in and out of. Hotel is up on a little hill away from casino. The lodging is cool, wish they had two bedrooms but the star suite is decent for two adults and two teens. The food in the AM is slightly lacking imo, and the buffet doesn’t open till like 11:00 am on a Sunday. And I don’t think you can get a mimosa or Bloody Mary in the morning either. Brewery serves up good lunch and dinner. Overall good place to stay and...
