Reasonably Priced, Good Location

Publié le 18 oct. 2016
Only needed hotel for one night. It was conveniently located, clean, reasonably priced. The only issue was a temporary bath drain issue. The hotel was average.

This hotel has gone downhill

Publié le 17 oct. 2016
Situation : Visiting family so not an issue
The first thing was our toilet didn't flush. Then the front desk lady gave pushback on getting us a different room (really...we're supppsed to stay in a room with a toilet that doesn't flush??). They moved us to a new room after my husband got firm with them and that room basically needed a whole re-do. Bathroom door was full of dirty hand prints, toilet was dingy, not clean porcelain look - kinda yellow. Overall bathroom just didn't "feel" clean - needs a good scrubbing, re painting.

Good for no working toilet

Publié le 17 oct. 2016
Situation : Hotel hides behind a grocery store...but many restaurants and things to do down the street not even 5mins away
We stayed in town for two nights for a wedding. The hotel was dated but nice, rooms were comfortable, pool area is nice and clean. Staff is very nice. Nice to have coffee/snacks available around the clock in the lobby. Breakfast was good..waffle maker excellent..had to remind server everytime something was low so we grazed instead of eating breakfast Our toilet would not flush properly the whole time and overflowed once (no excessive toilet paper or heafty use ;) ) My husband and I had to use the lobby bathroom most times even for a small pee...I am pregnant so this was slightly inconveint. The staff were notified and sent up a repair man who "fixed it" but it never worked. I would return to this hotel however.

found Bed Bug

Publié le 19 sept. 2016
Les + : The lobby was enjoyable and the breakfast was excellent
Les - : Get rid of bed bugs
Situation : We went to the outlet mall and was enjoyable, then went on to Central for a football game on Sat and spent time with my 21 year special gal
Yes we checked the beds for bugs and yes we found one, went down to tell desk clerk and she said I suppose you want to leave, and then informed us they had recently sprayed for bed bugs. This was a first floor room, so she did move us to the second floor room, and the room was good. She informed to speak to manager in the morning, and we did, however because we booked with Expedia, she could not compensate us. Very very disappointed

Not worth the price

Publié le 11 août 2016
Les + : The beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. Great water pressure in shower/tub.
Les - : Black-out curtains for rooms, updated bathroom which can be better cleaned. Larger tvs in the rooms.
Situation : Lots of shopping and restaurants within a block. The hotel is right next door to a Meijer which you can access without getting back on the main road.
My main complaint about this hotel is the lack of black-out curtains in the room. The only ones were sheer. This may not even have been such a huge problem if not for the 2 gigantic flood lights in the parking lot behing the building both pointed at the building like 2 miniature suns. I woke up at 3am and panicked because it looked like it was sunrise already because of the lights. I then couldn't get back to sleep, quite bothered by not being able to throw a curtain over the window to block the light out. We stayed in an odd numbered room whose windows faced the parking lot in the rear of the building. I don't know if the front facing rooms would have the same problem with the flood lights. The bathtub in the room was not ideally clean, nor was any part of the bathroom. The water pressure and shower head were nice, though. The toiletries provided are awful, I couldn't even get the shampoo to lather. The beds each have 3 pillows which are nice and fluffy, and fortunately the beds were comfortable. The tv was tiny. The only ice machine in the building is on the first floor. The elevator was jerky and a little scary, as well as SLOW. We were always waiting on the elevator. The pool was small and crowded, but ok. The spa tub was nice and hot. The continental breakfast was a huge disappointment. Poor Quality. Also, they were allowing 10 minute lulls in restocking missing items. Nobody wants to be that person who stares longingly at the bacon bin for that long.
