« The Paddler's Retreat is REALLY out of the way.
We enjoyed our stay however, people need to understand that all services are limited.
Due to Covid there is only a very limited breakfast, mostly cold.
If you want tea, you will need to use the microwave. The range is not available.
Furthermore, the options are more limited for dinner. There is only a gas station / limited eatery that stop serving at 6:30pm. The little town, Confluence is about 5 miles away. After that you are out of luck.

« Room was clean and cozy and warm with its personal fireplace. Offered a tremendous view of the lake and had a personal balcony. Staff was incredibly friendly and the owner could not have been more accommodating. Nothing went unattended or ignored. Best visit Iâve ever had to the area. Highly recommend! »

« We stayed in the Frost room and it was a perfect spot to land after a day of traveling. The breakfast was delicious too. I would recommend staying here when visiting the area. »

« Staff attentive and accommodating. Rooms are beautiful and cozy. In close proximity to several attractions and fine restaurants. Rocco's salad and the greens were excellent. Husband raved about the mussels. »

« After booking, Donna called me to confirm my stay and ask my arrival time. I appreciated it. It was a cold day with a temperature dropping to below 30 degrees. Taking bath in the big bathtub kept me warm all night even without heater. The heater was noisy when operating. Thus, it was good I took a warm bath and shut off the heater. »
