We were able to use the refrigerator and even got to use an ice pack for our aching legs. A wonderful place to recharge after a day of cycling! The owner gave us a great restaurant recommendation. « The Paddler's Retreat is REALLY out of the way. We enjoyed our stay however, people need to understand that all services are limited. Due to Covid there is only a very limited breakfast, mostly cold. If you want tea, you will need to use the microwave. The range is not available. Furthermore, the options are more limited for dinner. There is only a gas station / limited eatery that stop serving at 6:30pm. The little town, Confluence is about 5 miles away. « Dawn was a kind and gracious host! We were in a hurry for check in due to a nearby event and she walked us through in record time. Her house is immaculate and the downstairs can entertain a nice sized group, while still being comfy and cozy when it's just the two of you. This is an ideal summer stay with a beautiful back porch and yard. Highly recommend! »
