Hello Lisa Thank you for your review, we welcome reviews as it helps us make the suite as good as possible for guest. A couple of points 1) Both doors to the suite can be locked from the inside, I am sorry you felt you couldn't, and subsequently you felt uncomfortable. 2) From our records when you arrived there was no one at the house, as requested we sent you self check-in instructions. The day before your booking we explained our sisters family and nephews were coming to town and we asked you if we could use our pool and hot tub from 7-9:30pm. You said this was ok, we certainly would not have said yes if you weren't';t comfortable. 3) The circulation fan in the 50sf bathroom is higher up but the switch is lower down. We'll make sure to label the switch and see if we can swap the fan. out for a more silent model. 4) The fridge is a smaller size to keep with the asthetics of the room. The sign on the fridge does offer use of a much larger unit in the private garage. 5) Our drive will happily accommodate 9 cars. We always try to leave the 3 spaces nearest to the suite free for our guests. 6) Please do reach out to us about the cost doubling. We are aware of the cleaning charge for a dog of $35 and also the extra $9 per person for each of the two additional guests that were not on the booking. VRBO are very strict about us ensuring the booking reflects the correct number of guests staying for insurance. 7) We are more accind to a B&B than a hotel and advertise as such. Thus the suite is cleaned each stay. We encourage our guests should they need additional cleaning, supplies or towels etc please ask and we are more than happy to accomodate. Overall we are so sad that your stay was disappointing, it's certainly not our intention. We try to above and beyond to accommodate guests and make your stay special and relaxed. We hope there were some positive memories for you including being able to bring your local friends and their children for the afternoon and evening to enjoy the pool and backyard.

Firstly we are terribly sorry you did you enjoy your stay. You are right were sitting in our backyard with two friends enjoying a chat and firepit drink. Upon your arrival at around 11pm we showed you into the property. Within minutes your husband came out and joined us and his family member for a drink, happily telling us about your day. We offered to head inside our house but he insisted we stayed, he remained with us for 30 mins chatting. We are again terribly sorry your night was not as you expected but would also ask that you offer a fair and balanced review.
