I like everything except that it wasn’t mentioned when booking that the available parking wasn’t included ant that we would need to pay 15Euros per day. The lady that welcomed us was nice.

LOVED this property!
Without any hesitation we would stay here again. Incredibly clean, fantastic beds, and DARK rooms due to great blackout shades. Susana, our host, was also very welcoming.

Wonderful location
We couldn't have been happier about the location and property. Quiet neighborhood at night. Everything we needed (groceries, historic area, restaurants). Parking was a plus since it's not easy to navigate the roads of Granada by car. They provided parking if you need it. We didn't drive until we left, no need.. Be aware that streets are steep. Susana was of incredible help and assistance.

Artful in Every Way
This rental apartment is designed as if the owner intended to live there. From the original paintings to the artifacts and other furnishing, all is thoughtfully done. The views of the Alhambra are simply another sign of the personal artistry of the owner. A month was not enough time to enjoy this storied city nor the beautiful surroundings.

Great location in Granada
Very comfortable apartment in the heart of the Albaicin. We walked everywhere, including some great walks in the Sacramonte to see the abbey and the cave dwellings museum. Property manager was very responsive.

Amazing location to access Granada
The property lived up to the VRBO description - having said that there are a few improvements - it is a NIGHTMARE to get to the property if you are driving a car - GPS is no help - the property manager assistant should have known this - we felt the bed was way to hard (to our taste) - and no hair dryer - We would come here again - the location was super phenomenal (you can walk easily to the Alhambra and into the Albaicín and Sacromonte) and the apt is simply gorgeously decorated - oh and a grocery store in walking distance (Elemen) - do NOT hesitate to pick this place - just do not attempt to drive there without an escort

Hello Michael and thanks for your comments. We are soooo sorry about the hair dryer. It broke just before your arrival. We have a replacement now. And regarding driving to the apartment.... we understand that it might sound a little bit confusing driving through narrow and winding streets but if you follow our instructions it should not be too much of a problem. Great location
We had a lovely time in Granada with this easy to access apartment. Modern fixtures and appliances, in a quaint neighborhood. Be prepared to walk uphill a lot! Your legs may ache and you may be somewhat short of breath but it’s worth it.

Great stay
Had a great stay at Roberto’s apartment. It’s in a fabulous location with lots of restaurants and bars close by. The apartment itself was perfect for the two of us. Contact with Roberto and check in with Susana faultless, including arranging a taxi on our departure day. Highly recommended.

We loved the location and the property. The area of Granada it is located in was very interesting and close to Alhambra. It was. 10-20 minute walk to many great sites. Kitchen was small but well equipped. Honestly, with all the great restaurants and tapas you don't need a kitchen there. Great trip!

LOVED our stay!!
My sister and I did a trip to Spain, staying in several cities/VRBO’s. We both agree this one was our fav - wonderful location, great interaction with the property and check in was so easy. Also, Susanna helped us arrange a very early morning taxi on our departure day when we checked in. SO great. Highly, highly, highly recommend this wonderful place.

This is an excellent property within walking distance of Grenada’s best - the Rio Darro, Alhambra, Albaicín, and Sacromonte. Magical triple-paned windows and shutters successfully blocked street noise for quiet night’s sleep.

Good for the price
I will start by saying this place was totally valuable for the price. We were very near to all the main sites, including a ten minute walk to the Alhambra which was great. The place was clean and check in was easy. The wifi and heater worked well and there was good hot water and water pressure in the shower. The beds are pretty hard so if you prefer a softer bed, this will be uncomfortable. The place overall is smaller and a little more dated than it appears in the listing although my friend and I were still comfortable. I picked this apartment primarily for the Alhambra view however, there is a large tree blocking most of the view so be aware you won't see much of the site from the apartment. The apartment has a TV but nothing works on it including netflix... the host could not remedy this during our stay which we were disappointed about. I was grateful that the host allowed us to park our car at such short noticed, however, DO NOT UTILIZE THEIR PARKING. It is almost impossible to find and so difficult to access due to the narrowness of the streets and the garage corridors. Lastly, this apartment is near the main sites but it is located on the east-most end of the downtown area (5-10 minute walk) which is good to keep in mind if you are seeking somewhere more truly centrally located. Overall we had a really good experience but would likely chose another place should we visit Granada again.

Thanks Tamara for you comments but let me clarify a few things you mentioned. The Albaicin, the quarter where the apartments are, is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Europe with narrow streets that twist between the most traditional monuments, so be expected to adapt your driving skills to such a peculiar environment. Having said so, our parking space, something rare and therefore grateful to have in the middle of this UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE, needs to be used with caution and skills; we have been running this property for many years now and have had no complains about the space, but obviously there is always novel drivers that need some extra effort to make a use of it. Regarding the smart TV at the apartment, we did explain to you that you needed your NETFLIX account to watch Netflix on it, so please, don't understand this fuss about it. And last but not least, you obviously might have been wrong choosing this location if what you wanted was to be in the center of the city madness; we are 900 meters from the city center, away from the congestion but yet near the main monuments and attractions to visit while you stay in Granada. Safe travels.!!

Beautiful Granada
The apartment was truly great! It is modern with clean lines and decorated very tastefully. It is exactly as represented on the website. The washer dryer combo worked perfectly. We didn’t use the kitchen much except for making coffee, because we eat out a lot when traveling, but it has everything needed for preparing meals. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean, and quiet. Roberto kept us informed right up to our arrival and Suzanne was there to let us in. Roberto arranged a cab for us because the cab drivers didn’t understand me well enough, ( I don’t speak Spanish ), to arrange a ride to the train station. Six stars for the apartment, Roberto and Suzanne.

Fabulous modern apartment in Albacin
Lovely and comfortable modern apartment in a good location, with parking close by. Communication from Roberto was excellent and we appreciated the video showing the driving route to the apartment which would have been difficult otherwise. We really liked the nespresso coffee machine, and the triple glazed windows meant it was quiet inside too.

Gem on the Albaizin / Sacromonte border
It's exactly as the photos show, everything works well, and the location was very good for us - convenient to the Alhambra, even more so to the Albaizin, and a fifteen minute or so walk to much of the Centro. Lovely art (some by Roberto), outstanding use of space, super appealing blend of modern (the kitchen!!) and more historical styles. And as convenient as we found the location (if you're not a walker, the C32 bus stops nearby), it was also quiet at night and the bedrooms could be darkened to pretty much pitch black. Between that and the comfy beds, we slept like the dead. Really hard to complain about a single thing. Price was right too!

Precioso piso en el Albaicín
El piso está fantástico, todo reformado y nuevo, y con muy buen gusto en la decoración. Sofá y camas muy cómodos. Cocina y baño completos. Todo súper limpio. Parking en el mismo edificio lo que es imprescindible estando en el Albaicín. Puedes ir andando a todos los principales lugares de Granada lo que es una gran ventaja. Sin duda cuando volvamos a Granada repetiremos alojamiento!!

Bright, Beautifully Furnished Great Location!!
My husband I spent six glorious day in Granada and were delighted we chose Art Chapiz as our home base. Fully equipped kitchen.....very efficient. Central to everything....city shuttle passes right by the property. Loved the view of the Alhambra. Short walk to wonderful little restaurants, fresh food tiendas and panoramic overlooks. A vibrant city, loaded with charm....Moorish architecture and lots to see and do. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely come here back again.

Exceptional apartment in ideal location
A beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished apartment in an ideal location within the historic Albaicin neighbourhood. A short walk to Plaza Nueva and the Alhambra. The city bus runs by the front door and there are shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. A lovely, unique neighborhood to wander and explore.

Great location, condo and contact
Loved staying in this apartment very close to everything but away from all the touristy crowds. A little bit of an uphill climb but that’s really everywhere in Granada!! The apartment had everything we needed plus more. And Jamie was there to meet us the first day (communicated great via VRBO and WhatsApp) and show us around the apartment. The area is totally safe and very quiet (as long as windows are closed but when open you feel part of the neighborhood). We could not have asked for more although the bathroom was a bit small it really served our purpose! I would definitely stay here again!

Simply lovely
The property was even better than the photographs, roomier than it appears. Very comfortable, plenty of room to sprawl out when relaxing in the apartment. Great location. We were able to walk to the Alhambra and the Sacromonte. We could walk uphill or downhill for plenty of shopping and eating options. A bus stop is a block or less away. The apartment is located on a busy street, but closing the windows blocks out any unwanted noise.

Small but Stylish
Wonderful location for a visit to the Alhambra (a short-but steep- walk) and exploring Albaicín. Quiet, secure building. If you opt to use the parking, believe the owner when she says it is tight! Very comfortable beds, loved the Nespresso machine. Decor is striking, at times veering towards form over function. Bathroom and kitchen are very small; perfect for one or two people, workable for our three, but would likely be cramped for more.

Thanka for your note. Yes, compared homes in the US this is a small flat. However compared to many in the neighbourhood this is large and we have accommodated up to 6 people quite comfortably.

The owner of this apartment has done an exquisite job with this apartment. Beautifully decorated, every detail thought out and perfectly located. Upon checking in the property managers had recommendations for multiple restaurants and things to do around us other than the Alhambra which was great to have. Would stay again if we ever find ourselves in Granada again!

Modernes stilvolles Apartment
Im Apartment fehlte es an nichts für einen schönen Aufenthalt. Anzumerken wäre nur, dass man an einer Straße mit Buslinie wohnt. Der Straßenlärm lässt nicht zu, dass man mit geöffneten Fenstern schläft. Die Betten sind für große Menschen zu kurz. Das Bad ist zwar sehr stilisch aber etwas unpraktisch. Ansonsten schickes Apartment.

Tausend und eine Nacht
Das Apartment ist zentral gelegen, wunderbar eingerichtet und blitzsauber. Nicht weit entfernt sind der Fußweg zur Alhambra sowie die Stadtviertel Albaicin und Sacromonte. Also ein idealer Ausgangspunkt zu allem. 50 m vom Apartment befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle, die in die einzelnen Stadtteile befördert. Als wir in Granada ankamen, hat der Vermieter uns bereits erwartet und uns alles ausführlich erklärt. Die Kommunikation war aufgeschlossen und sehr freundlich. Viele Tipps bekamen wir, vor allem über Traditionen der Einheimischen, um nicht in die üblichen Touristenfallen zu tappen. Wenn wir wieder nach Granada fliegen, dann wieder in dieses Appartement.

Un appartamento perfetto, accogliente, arredato con gusto
Abbiamo passato quattro giorni a Granada in questo appartamento molto bello e moderno con tocchi di stile arabeggiante. Dotato di tutto, letti comodi, doccia extralarge! La zona in cui si trova è un po’ lontana dal centro, ma per questo più tranquilla, vicina al quartiere Sacromonte dove ci sono gli spettacoli di Flamenco e ai Mirador più belli da cui guardare l’alhambra al tramonto. Per raggiungere il centro ci sono dei piccoli bus ma a piedi in discesa la passeggiata è piacevole. Il quartiere Albaicín è pieno di locali, ma quasi tutti raggiungibili a piedi nel dedalo di scale e vicoli caratteristici. Di sera tardi e al mattino presto non si trovano luoghi aperti per comprare qualcosa da bere o mangiare per cui consiglio di provvedere per tempo. Un ottimo indirizzo per soggiornare a Granada

When you enter the outer gate your immediately in a quite and cool place...the apartment is an oasis

Spotless, functional and comfortable in the Albacain neighborhood
This is a very well designed and highly functional compact apartment in the Albacain neighborhood. The vibe is established by the paintings and other art pieces that grace the walls. The apartment sparkles. It was a great size for my wife and me (we used the second bedroom as a dressing room) but might seem a bit tight for 4. The shower is strong and Wifi good. There are steep, twisty roads to explore, and not too many commercial establishments within easy (5 minute) walking distance. Jamie was very kind to help us navigate with our car to the parking garage about 200 feet up the road.

Wonderful apartment with amazing organization and style.
I am not sure I have ever seen such a well organized space with such style. The original art work is stunning and the appointments are just lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was so quiet that we slept until 9 almost every morning. The one person that complained about noise apparently did not close the windows and use the shutters. The kitchen is amazing with its organization and style. We don't ever attempt to cook while on vacation but having this space for snacks and breakfast worked well. Granada is a hilly town so plan to do plenty of hiking. There is a small cafe just a very short walk from the front door that has lovely breakfasts and tapas so this was also handy after being out exploring.

Excellent location, stylish/ comfort home
We felt instantly at home as the apartment has all the essentials of an American home. Paper kitchen towers, dishwasher, sparkling clean kitchen. It is spacious too. The place looks just like the pictures, modern, stylish and comfortable. Highly recommend it.
