« This is a very quaint and clean cabin in the woods. It is like you are staying in a modern tree house. There is no AC and the heat source is a wood burning stone. It says they have radiant heat but it was not on during our stay so the floors were cold. The biggest negative for us, is there was no privacy. Yes, the cabin is somewhat secluded in the woods, but NONE and I mean NONE of the windows have blinds or curtains, and there are neighbors. If you can see them then someone can see you! ...

« Cedarwood is a special place. It is rustic but still has modern amenities. The location is the perfect launching point to all the outdoor activities that Mt Hood has to offer (we went on several awesome hikes). Ian is the ideal host and was very attentive to our needs. We would absolutely stay here again. »

« The property was suitable for the price we paid, but the pictures online led me to believe it was better than it actually was. « We LOVED the cabin, location riverfront yard and the sound of the river as we slept! Beds, bathroom & kitchen were clean and very well appointed and comfortable. Hood, we shopped our favorite bookstore (artifacts), shopped the game store(excellent selection of board games), ate excellent BBQ in Parkdale. We rode rail bikes at Mr. Hood railway. Super fun!
