Accueil cordial. On est conduit à notre chambre, austère mais qui convient jusqu'à qu'on teste les matelas. En conclusion une très mauvaise nuit passée sur un matelas inconfortable. Globalement, l'établissement mériterait un gros coup de neuf. Malheureusement, l'établissement joue sur la quasi absence de concurrence à proximité à pieds du centre ville.

Hotel atypique
Hotel et chambre atypique, un petit nid de 10m² avec le lavabo dans un placard ! Très accueillant et chaleureux, le proprio nous a bien aidé avec notre panne de voiture ! Déco fraiche, minimaliste, lits confortables, petit déjeuner très bon.

Het was in het centum . Gouda is een fantastische stad , gezellige terrasjes en zijn daar heel vriendelijk. We hebben van ons weekend genoten.

Leuke stad lokatie. Wij waren met kinderen. Kamers zijn gehorig, dus voor kleine kinderen 'mogelijk' niet echt geschikt. Als drankje bij ontbijt zouden ze voor de kinderen ook appelsap of vruchtesap kunnen aanbieden. Tevens miste ik iets van groente, als komkommer of tomaat. Kleinopmerking over hygiene: de koelvitrine zou een keer een beurtje mogen hebben. Verder prima

This place is nice quiet, charming hotel with friendly staff and a good location. I didn't mind sharing the washroom and shower, and I liked that the room had a sink and a mini fridge. The breakfast in the courtyard was beautiful.

Mixed bag, lack of maintenance
The location is superb, just inside the canal ring that demarcates the old town, and very close to everything. The room itself was small, but the bed comfortable. The most negative part was the condition of the bathroom. The shower drained extremely slowly (10-15 minutes!) - clearly a lack of maintenance; and there was some dark mold at the bottom of the shower stall (i.e. a problem of cleanliness). But what was even more problematic was that there was no-one to call about the problem (the drain should have had a drain cleaner added, to dissolve what was clogging things). As strangers in an otherwise lovely town, there should have been some information about who to call in an emergency. In addition the room was on the second floor, and the hallway there badly lit. And hot, despite the fact that windows opened.

Really charming building with a nice outdoor sitting space and in a great area. The price was definitely right and the staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Cozy Gouda Hotel
This is a small, older hotel very conveniently located on side street near central Gouda. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast good and more than the usual continental. The rooms and bath are quite small and took some getting used to but then ok. Beds two singles pushed together. No soap, shampoo, in room. Can borrow dryer, iron. They do personal laundry for a reasonable price. Lovely, small garden available at back of hotel. Must be able to climb couple flights of stairs. All in all an enjoyable 8 night stay.

Rooms were small but very quaint. Parking is 5 minutes away and easy to get to. Only problem was this hotel was built in the 1600's and has no elevator but very steep stairs, really tough to haul luggage up and back down. Right in the middle of town and easy walking to everything.

Excellent town centre location. We had a room with en-suite shower which was OK for one night but very small with the en-suite having no window and unsuitable for anyone who is larger than average build. Good spread of food for breakfast.

A friendly boarding house, well situated near the centre of Gouda. The owner, Gerard, is very friendly and helpful.

Sehr laut,Betten alt und ausgelegen. Keine Nacht mehr als 4 Stunden geschlafen. Hunde sind erlaubt, dürfen aber nicht mit in den Aufenthaltsraum. Fazit,viel zu teuer für so ein schlechtes Hotel.

Perfekt gelegen und sehr sehr süß
Das Hotel ist in einem historischen Haus im Zentrum von Gouda. Der Denkmalschutz verhindert größere Umbaumaßnahmen wie zum Beispiel einen Lift. Aber das macht es um so gemütlicher und authentischer. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

What a friendly place! The location is perfect. Wee booked the suite which was perched atop the breakfast area and afforded any amazing view of the lovely patio. Birds sang at our window! The breakfast was perfect. Easy walk from the central train station. Wish it had at least a fan. Some items were not replenished or cleaned, i.e. bed made towels not all there, not enough toilet paper, or shampoo, etc. All this was easily fixed by asking.

One night in Gouda
The hotel was very nice. The manager was very friendly and gave us, lots of information about the hotel and Gouda. He made recommendations on good places to eat nearby. He made sure our bicycles were locked up safely. The room was clean and quite adequate. We shared a bathroom and toilet with one other room but this wasn't a problem. There was Good choice for breakfast. Gouda itself is a very pretty little village with plenty to see and do. We would return to Gouda and this hotel.

Small room, but comfortable. Hotel provided fan, but room was still warm, but tolerable. Quick and easy access to commercial area and square. Gouda is a wonderful town to visit!

Great location of hotel, parking relatively near by. Room fairly basic and small but sufficient for our one night stay. Breakfast was excellent, we liked the self service and then personal plate of cooked eggs.

Unfortunately, this hotel did not live up to the reviews that I've read on the Internet. Cleanliness is atrocious to say the very least. The only thing this hotel had to offer was its location.

Prima kamer, midden in het centrum van Gouda, alles om de hoek. Ontbijt vond ik tegenvallen, dat was heel minimaal.

Ideale ligging. Vlakbij bushalte en centrum. Goed voor een weekend of paar dagen. Onze kamer was wel erg klein. Weinig kastruimte en geen haken om o.a. handdoeken te drogen. Smalle en kleine bedden. Personen met flink postuur raad ik niet aan zo'n kamer te nemen. Prima hotel bij mooi weer. Waarschijnlijk minder, wanneer het 'nat' is, vanwege weinig ruimte om je (natte) spullen te bergen. Hotelpersoneel was vriendelijk. Hotel is schoon, ook onze kamer was schoon.
