« This was our favorite stay on the Big Island! The house is perfect. Clearly, someone put a lot of thought into the decor. There is so much to look at! It is clean, and stocked with everything you might need. The fruit was a nice touch. We have never tasted bananas like that before! We forgot to bring binoculars, and were so pleased to see a pair before we went on the birding trail. 10/10 would highly recommend. »

« We spent 3 nights at Raul’s guesthouse which felt more like a very spacious condo! It is safe with a gated driveway and a backyard that never ends! The fruit trees, the flowers and the landscape are absolutely stunning. Now for interior, there are only positives critiques to be said here. Everything is high end, they provide you with so many things that it is easy to cook your own meals! They have lots of pots and pans, dishes etc… but no condiments. Every inch of this place is taken care of....

« What a great place! We had a wonderful stay at this cute tiki cottage. The hosts had Hawaiian music playing when first arrived which was a really nice touch. Very well maintained grounds, beautiful flowers throughout. The tiki decor in the house was so fun and very well done. We had a relaxing evening on the lanai listening to the rain and kept cozy with lots of blankets because it does get cold at night. There was a heated mattress pad on the bed which was lovely. House was very clean and host...

Hilo Reeds Bay Hotel

8/10 Bien

Emplacement excellent"

Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo - a Doubletree by Hilton

8/10 Bien

Volcano Forest Inn

10/10 Excellent

"Me and my daughter had a very good experience at the Volcano Forest Inn. It is literally at 5 minute drive of the entrance of the Volcano National Park. Which allow us to visit the volcano easily. The rooms was pretty big, confortable and clean. The communication with the owner and our arrival was easy. We were warned by email that the weather could be chilly because of the rain forest. We were ok, but everyone should be aware that it was about 12 to 15 Celsius early mourning. Also there is a cleaning fee of 80$ that is not mentioned in Expedia web site. Overall, for the price, I would highly recommend this hotel."

Hilo Hawaiian Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

8/10 Bien
