Auberges à Glenfarne

« No actual person or reception area to check in at. A sign asking you to ring when you arrive, which causes some difficulty when you dont have a international phone number. Room and facilities were great. Clean, modern, well maintained no faults. Car parking good onsite. »

« Such a lovely combination of old and unique while still clean and cozy. The grounds were beautiful and everyone was so accommodating »

« Hôtel un peu vieillot mais très bien situé propre et une vu imprenable sur la baie »

« Very nice hotel. Good location, nice staff and the food was good, cocktails also ! »

« This place was an absolute disaster. One star is far too generous, but it’s the lowest I can give. From start to finish, everything about this stay was unacceptable and for the price, it’s an absolute scam. We arrived to an empty reception with no staff in sight, which already set the tone. The restaurant shuts at 8pm, which is laughable for a hotel pretending to be “international.” The room itself was in a shocking state run-down, stale smell, poorly maintained, and not even something as basic...

« Cool place close to the pub »

« Très bon séjour à l’hôtel Castle Dragan Hôtel . Nous avions une suite qui était propre , grande et toute équipée. Nous avons pu bénéficier d’un massage pdt notre séjour . Le petit déjeuner était très bon et de très bonne qualité . Le dîner au restaurant de l’hôtel était bon mais pas exceptionnel non plus .. Un très bon séjour en tout cas. »

« Chambre spacieuse, neuve et propre. Petit déjeuner correct et piscine agréable. »

« The kitchen was very nice. The staff were very helpful and gave us recommendations for laundry facilities and things to see. The bed was comfortable, the shower had great water pressure. The only thing we would change is having a better space to put our backpacks would have been appreciated. »

« A fantastic place to stay. My elderly parents required an ensuite and this fitted the bill perfectly. Fresh flowers greeted us on the fining table. Great selection of leaflets showing you things to do in the west coast of Ireland. Would highly reccomend a visit to Parkes Castle followed by a boat ride on Lough Gill stopping at Dooley Park https://roseofinnisfree.com/ . The house is fantastic location to Sligo town, strandhill, rosses point, just under an hour to Knock airport, 2 hours from...

« Owner never responded with check in details leaving us stranded in the Ireland countryside after spending hours on the phone with VRBO trying to sort it out. »

« The property was private and off any main roads. However, the nearest village (Drumshanbo) was just 4 minutes away by car and approximately 9 minutes away on foot. The cottage suited my wife and I perfectly. We enjoyed the peace and quiet but had the opportunity to drive to main towns and sites within 30 minutes or so. »
