This is not a dedicated hotel, but rather a lively pub with rooms. While the room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a good-sized bathroom (with electric shower and tub), the sound insulation was poor, with a lot of noise coming up from the dining room immediately below. This wasn't a major problem the first two nights, as 11:00 closing time meant that things quietened down quickly. On our final night, however, something that sounded like a dog fight broke out immediately below us at nearly midnight and things weren't quiet until half past at the earliest.
The food was good, all home made and freshly prepared, although the selection for breakfast was a little limited.
Services was extremely friendly and accommodating at a very busy time.
