Endroit romantique
Hotel sur l'ile de trawagan , situé de l'autre coté de l'ile , très agréable , cadre romantique , couché de soleil sur leur plage maganifique . La chambre est magnifique , confort et raffinement , très calme . Le restaurant tout comme les pdj sont extras . A 10 min de vélo du centre . Pas possible de faire du snorkelling devant l'hotel , mais étant sur une ile , 5 min de vélo avec deux supers spot , coraux , tortues etc .

On a été gentillement accueilli avec un délicieux cocktail Notre chambre était magnifiquement décorée pour notre lune de miel Malgré l’approvisionnement encore difficile, le petit déjeuner était délicieux et copieux. Je n’ai pas testé la piscine mais ils ont une très belle plage avec des fatboys, où l’on peut se faire servir un délicieux cocktail (mention pour le anti-inflammatory, une tuerie!) pendant que l’on regarde le soleil se coucher. L’hospitalité, la gentillesse et l’envie d’en faire plus pour le client sont un exemple pour d’autres hôtels plus luxueux. Si vous louez un vélo (prix démocratiques) sur place, prenez-en un avec de grosses roues, plus facile pour les endroits ensablés. Distinction supplémentaire pour la conscience écologique appliquée sans diminuer la qualité du service! Merci Ayu

Parfait pour qlq jours en couple loin des bars bruyants. Piscine pas tres propre mais chambre et salle de bain superbes ! La plage est belle mais pas de fond , juste bon pour petite trempete. Mais a 5 min a velo vous trouverez votre bonheur

Great stay for a great price
We had a lovely stay here, for the price it is fantastic value. Is on the quieter side of the island which we really liked. Has got fantastic views on the beach for the sunset, with good sunset happy hour prices. Rooms were lovely, with the his and hers showers surrounded by fish a particularly unique highlight. Only, slightly misleading thing about the ad, is there is no spa here. Overall a great stay, I would recommend and stay again if we found ourselves back on the island.

Best hotel in Trawangan
We stayed for 4 nights. Overall we had excellent time here. The room was clean, the staff was smiling all the time and very kind and the food was so delicious. All foods from a la carte were tasty. We definitely chose this hotel again.

The rooms are stunning. Love all the woodwork. Beds were comfortable and the linen felt luxurious. Loved the outdoor showers! The property pool is divine. The restaurant provides delicious food and the staff are helpful and friendly. Bikes provided could with some maintenance. Highly recommend and would stay again. Gili T is beautiful.

너무 친환겅적이라 일부 불편함은 감수하시길.
사진과 후기만 보고 정말 많이 기대하고 찾은 숙소였는데, 결론은 한국의 보통 여자들이 지내기는 너무 친환경적이라서 오히려 불편했어요, 호텔보다는 숲속 캠핑 느낌이랄까. 벌레 많은 개방 화장실도 익숙치않고 샤워할때마다 물고기 눈치가 보여서 비누 튀지않게 조심하느나 마루바닥이 다 젖었네요. 방안에 전화기, 전기주전자 같은 것은 없어요. 주전자는 프론트에서 빌려서 사용했네요.직원들은 굉장히 친절합니다. 항상 웃으며 응대하였으며 특히 Hery 라는 메니저는 영어도 잘하시고 친절히 응대해서 기분이 좋았습니다. 그리고 식당은 길리T 최고의 맛집입니다. 음료와 음식 모두 훌륭했습니다. 식당은 다음에도 다시 꼭 방문하고 싶습니다.

Brilliant customer service.
Mike on arrival was brilliant meeting our needs and sorting out what we needed. He had excellent contacts for horse riding and snorkelling. Would highly recommend the hotel and the food and staff are brilliant. The location is superb. Sunsets amazing

Nice bungalows, excellent staff and quiet location
We loved our cute bungalow, super clean, nicely decorated and with a beautiful outdoor bathroom with its own fish pond :) The staff has been exceptional, always extremely friendly and attentive. The breakfast delicious, and also the other meals we had here. We liked the area because it was quiet at night with all the tourists partying on the other side of the island :) A definite bonus was the beautiful beach bar that the staff kept in excellent condition and of course the famous sunset views. Overall we enjoyed our staying! even if we found Gili T was not our type.

Ok, good food and good service. But bicycles where terrible and top hot in the cabins. Should have been a better airconditionen im the roms that could suport with enough air to Get the room satisfyingly cold. Apart from that happy with our stay.

Thank you for taking the time to make a review. These are very important to us. The Air conditioning units in the cabins are more than capable of making the rooms cold. I have stayed in them myself. We do have an engineer onsite that specialises in AC units. Dd you speak to reception and ask them to take a look?

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you found us a little far from the central area but as in all the information we do not hide our location and it only takes 10 minutes by bike to get there. We can also call you a taxi (horse and cart) if you prefer not to cycle. We do hope that you come back and visit us again.

Its not always about sand and sunsets..
I can't speak highly enough about Terry and Tina idyllic Balinese cottages. Food was excellent. Indonesian with European twists all well-presented and promptly served. A great selection of drinks and cocktails to go with the food, including some good French wines if you fancied a change from the local wines. There might not be a golden sandy beach to speak off but the sunset view more than makes up for it. There is a greater emphasis now on travellers reducing there environmental impact and it is reassuring to see Teak embracing this but it is not just plastic bottles and reducing waste. Gili Teak also invests in their staff, by developing their English and teaching them how to manage their finances better by educating them with banking skills. Where my respect truly lies is in how Terry and Tina are committed to the community. In 2018 after the dust settled from the Lombok Earthquake, when there was no power or electricity and all the boats left, Terry and Tina stayed. They stayed for the community and for locals and they stayed to rebuild. By you staying at Gili Teak is nice way to contribute back to the Balinese community.

All great but the cycles
It was an amazing experience. My two complains are the fish in the bathroom should be fed and shoukd be more colorful. The second comment is the bicycles should have better seats. They are so uncomfortable.

Thank you for your review. The fish do get fed daily by the housekeeping staff. We do have to be careful about the fish that we put in the ponds as they have to be able to deal with shampoo etc that sometimes gets splashed into the pond. I do hope that this helps.

The location was great and the facility was very well kept, clean and the bungalows were wonderful! Its too bad that the beach isn't swimmable at this location but bikes are available and the island is very accessible and easy to get around. The food was OK at the restaurant but not our favourite spot on the island.

Beautiful little gem on the beach! It is away from the busy area of the island, which was a big bonus for us, but still easy to bike or walk to. The restaurant served amazing food - we ate there almost all our meals. The free breakfast served up huge delicious portions! The staff were AMAZING! So friendly and great service! This side of the island has the best view of the sunset as well :).

The staffs in Gili Teak Resort are super helpful and efficient. I was planned to take a fast boat to Gili Trawangan on 15/6 morning. Unfortunately, since the poor sea conditions, all fast boat services have been cancelled. In 15/6 morning, I was very worried, and my Bali's hotel did not provide any useful help. I sent an email to Gili Teak Resort, they bought us the flight ticket Lombok promptly. Not only the flight, but Gili Teak Resort also arrange the driver and fast boat for us in this short time. I'm so fortunate that I chose Gili Teak Resort for my vacation. Gili Teak Resort is very nice. It has a beautiful clear sunset beach, I love to sit on the swing and enjoying the view. their breakfast is tasty, pasta and cocktails are also great. The hotel has two lovely cats, they may come and ask for their snack from your dishes. The hotel is the other side of the pier. If you want to go to the pier, you can rent a bike from the hotel, it only takes around 20 minutes going to the pier. But the road is rugged and it very dark at night, it will be hard if you are not good at riding the bike. I usually go to the pier on foot, even so, it just takes around 45 minutes. It not as much inconvenient as imagine. We are willing to live here again if have chance.

Elegant beach hotel on paradise island
Wonderful gem of a hotel, with great beach views, delicious food & drink, and a most unusual and gorgeous bathroom with his n hers showers surrounded by a real fish pond. The staff are friendly and helpful, and Terry, one of the owners, was lovely and welcoming. The room was beautiful – very tastefully appointed, with a massive and comfy bed. There was also good air conditioning. We never noticed any lengthy power cuts (common on the Gili Islands) & found that the amount of power plugs was sufficient for us. The hotel provided free wifi. The location was perfect, on the quiet side of the island, so you can actually get some sleep, but you are not too far from the action if you wish to check out the ‘party’ side as well. Bikes are available to rent from the front desk though we just walked and it didn’t take too long (about 25mins). You could also get a horse & cart to take you to town. The food and cocktails are delicious, and can be ordered to your room’s balcony, or the restaurant, or to the beach. Breakfast, which is included, is amazing! The banana pancakes were the best I’ve ever had. There’s a great selection of comfy seating provided on the beach. Note that the beach isn’t suitable for swimming as the water is very shallow. There is also a fair amount of dead coral at the beach (through no fault of Gili Teak!) which can make for uncomfortable walking, so make sure to pack your water shoes with you. The hotel pool is a better place for a cooling dip.

We are tidal on the west side of the island which means that the tide does go in and out. When its in it is possible to swim although it isnt as deep as in other parts. When the tide is out its a great location to rock pool and check out all the visitors that have been left behind. We do hope that you come back and visit us again.

Breakfast on the beach
Nice and quiet beach and the breakfast and food is decent. You sit right on the beach and can stare out over the ocean. I appreciate the fact that they care about minimizing plastic use. The outdoor bathroom is amazing and definitely something you'll remember!

This is like the best hotel in the island for a price. Hotel is brand new, very beautiful interior. Bathroom is just amazing. Hotel service is great and professional. The only problem we had is a heat. Around a day villa got so hot that air conditioning can't handle it. At the restaurant there is really extensive choice of European breakfast, but you need everytime ask for any additions (like fruit platter or jam). Restaurant food for lunch and dinner is awesome, no need to drive somewhere else. Beach is perfect, but be warned that you can't swim on this side of the island! Overall experience is great, highly recommend this hotel for quite and chilled stay.

However, it is possible to swim there when the tide is in. There is a chart at reception that you can check for high tide time. We do hope that you come back and visit us again. On the beach 5* Luxury
Fabulous room. All the staff go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay. Room was large, clean and kitted out with quality linen and towels.Outside bathroom was amazing. Tina and Terry were wonderful owners - They interacted well with us and made us feel very welcome. Breakfasts were cooked to order and yummy.We also tried fish and chips- best I have tasted for a long time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Beautiful, quiet and friendly.
The resort was great. We stayed for 6 days and it was the perfect location for us. There's not a lot around the resort area, I suspect because of the earthquake, but that just made it quieter which we wanted. The view of the sunset is great, a lot of people from the east side, the party side, came over and grabbed a chair to watch the sunset. The rooms are well done and super clean. We loved the fish pond in the bathroom, just another nice touch. The food was very good too. Not just taste but also selection, good variety of indonesian and western fare. The staff were all super nice and every group/couple we spoke to all had positive things to say. The only negative comment I have is that the pool tiles were loose or missing, again I suspect from the earthquake. But not a big deal, the pool was a God send for the hot days, or even during the evening. If we come back to Gili T we'd book this place again without hesitation.

You are correct they shook of during the earthquake. We are scheduled to repair the pool next month. Then it should be all good as new again. Please come back and visit us again soon. Very nice Hotel, we loved it!
This is a very nice hotel, it is set on the beech with a pool and a very luxurious feel. The rooms are very nice with great facilities. I really recommend this hotel.

Mysigt ställe!
Spenderade tre nätter på Gili Teak. Jättefint rum med härligt ute-badrum. Ljuvlig solnedgång varje kväll. Pga av jordbävningen funkade inte wi-fi på hela tiden. En bit in till hamnen och inte så bra bad på denna sidan ön, men vi kan rekommendera Gili Teak som boende!
