« No pet, several items needed repair. No extra blankets or quilts. Heat wasn't working. Manager communicated well. Finally moved to different rental. »

« Just an overnight stay. On our way back home from northern New York. The place was nice. It is peaceful sitting on the deck. The check in process was a little tedious with various emails and downloads required. The Backstep is a little sketchy. Be careful walking in. Overall the place was nice »

« I hate giving negative reviews, however.... Upon arrival, access was very easy. The owner/ property manager provided clear and concise information. The property was easy to access, but definitely use a 4 wheel vehicle. However, the online photos of the property are deceptive. The cabin is not as rural as one would think. The building has much more wear than depicted. The deck is high above the ground and the boards are warped with openings. It did not feel safe. The gutters had plants...

« In the hustle and bustle of the electrical contracting world, this place was a perfect retreat from the grind. The hot tub was amazing and the views were even better. The cabin was very comfortable and the AC worked very well and thank goodness it was 100 most of the week. Will be taking other adventures soon and you’ll be at the top of the list for communicating on future endeavors.! »

« The pictures on the listing were not accurate in representing the state of the current state of the house. The fence in the back is wire with stakes and not a fence. The neighborhood dogs got out of their fence and aggressively chased us down 3 times, and other dogs down the road would chase our car. The next-door neighbors' trash...

« The house has real potential, but also has real problems. It needs some maintenance in a major way. The toilet won’t flush. The faucet in the bathtub fell off. The grill had not been cleaned in so long that it broke out into a fire. When communicated these problems with the host, the response was I’m sorry for the inconvenience. We will have our handyman fix it after you leave. Frankly, I wanted it fixed while we were there. They also did not provide the necessary materials for cleaning dishes....
