This property was a perfect spot for the bridal party to get ready. Only 6min away from the wedding venue! All the fall colors were a plus! Perfect stop for balcony photos with a hot cup of tea!

Private and comfortable
We had a great time. There was so much space for us to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The kids loved exploring the yard and it was in a tucked back, private location so they were able to have their freedom and get a little noisy too. Even though we had a few issues during our stay, they were all minor and our host got back with me quickly every time. With just a little more attention to detail this place would be excellent. We would happily stay again.

The house worked out perfect for our group of 8. Definitely enough room for more people, but you’d have to double up in the beds as there are just 6 beds, so 2 people slept on couches. Big kitchen table was great for card games and there was ample room outside to play cornhole. As someone else mentioned in a review, the coffee machine needs to be replaced. We tried to make coffee the first morning and it probably would’ve took over an hour if we had let it continue brewing, but we had to leave to get breakfast before our tee times. All in all it was a great experience there, and we are already hoping to book this property again next year for our annual trip to Gaylord!

It was a great place for four couples coming north for a family event. Well furnished, spacious, and nice balcony, deck and view. Plenty of parking and fridge space. Man cave came in handy. Great find!

Family time!
Perfect for us to spend time together with our kids and grandkids! Access to the private lake was easy, the grandkids had fun swimming there. Could use an upgraded coffee maker. Kitchen is decently well stocked for cooking. Big table with view of the surrounding woods was great for our family meals together! We don’t golf but it’s really close to a couple of golf courses, one is less than a mile away.

The property was great. Plenty of room for us and the family we travel with. Beds were comfy. House could use some updates, but that did not bother us, we had everything we needed. The property itself was beautiful and just right. There were no issues to contact the property owner, but she was very responsive to the initial contact point. Thanks for sharing your home!

Our group had a very good experience staying at the property. The location and view from the rental is beautiful. The beds and couch we very comfortable for all of us and there was plenty of seating. Overall we had a very enjoyable time with no problems.

Owner was very responsive and accommodating from the first message sent. Cottage is rustic, open floor plan, with a true "cabin" feel. The location was centrally located to the various day trips that were planned. It was perfect for us, our adult children, and grandchildren to spend time family time together while having our own space.

Wonderful vacation
Our group of family and friends really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was able to have their own space and the kids loved the big yard to play in. The beach area is private so we didn't have to worry about any crowds and there were sand toys and a play area for the kids.

We were pleased in general. Farther out than we thought. Hostess was easy to work with.
We were a group of 8 adults. The kitchen was fine. Would recommend a bathroom on each floor. The back screen door support latch was broken when we got there. Have pictures available if needed. The living room main couch not comfortable and extremely difficult to get out of. The top floor air circulation is a problem. Only one bedroom has air conditioning.(Top floor) Windows do not fully close therefore bugs enter easily. The bathroom on top floor has problems. Hot air comes up through the toilet. Feels like a sauna in the bathroom all the time therefore the top floor is constantly hot and muggy. Basement floor seem cold all the time. The main floor bedroom and bathroom were fine. If we had stayed in the house all day it would have been hard. The group was 57 -85 in age. The hostess was good to work with and like I said the kitchen and dinning room space was nice. We did have a wonderful time together. Hope this is helpful.

We enjoyed the weekend at this lovely home. The location was perfect for our family who was in town for a wedding. The property is secluded and so peaceful. Beds were very comfortable and the home was clean. We will be back the next time we visit!

Great Location - but feels remote!
My family rented this place out to do a tour of some of the northern Michigan lakes (Torch, Higgins etc.) it was a great location in the middle of a lot to do. Would definitely recommend in any season! Yvette was very very kind and easy to work with.

This home was very clean. It was well stocked too. Plenty of TP, towels, dish soap. There was plenty of furniture for us to all sit, a huge plus for a large family. The beds were very comfy except for the twin bed. This place is not showy, just homey. There was plenty of wood to enjoy the huge fire ring, along with chairs. The water is wonderful, we did not need to purchase bottled water! Our visit went nicely and we had a great time. If you are looking for hiking trails...not so many here. but we enjoyed walking the retired golf course and our visit to Lake Elizabeth. Science at it's best with the loons in the Lake! That was awesome. Thank you

Love the instant confirmation when I was booking. The outdoor view is breath taking. Every bed was comfy. We used cooked full meals for breakfast and dinner. Also enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the evening. Definitely will refer this place.

Private beach was absolutely beautiful. Home was a little rustic. Bathrooms were clean however could use an updating espcially the one upstairs. Husband however loved the Jacuzzi bathtub on the main floor. Kitchen was fully stocked. Would have been better if one out of the two propane tanks would have had something in it. Overall it was a nice place and we would consider renting again.

Great Place for a Weekend Getaway!!
The property was perfect for our weekend trip! Lots off outdoor and deck/balcony space to hang out! Well supplied with everything we needed and a nice open kitchen/dining room. Clean with plenty of comfortable sleeping space. Would definitely stay again!
