Il est inscrit qu'il s'agit d'un quatre étoiles sur l'établissement. Je le coterais comme un trois étoiles limite. Le tapis n'avait pas été bien nettoyé. Il y avait des éléments de poubelles moisissent au fond de la poubelle. Après avoir mentionné cela à l'établissement, ils ont proposé de nous fournir un déjeuner à la chambre avant notre départ qui devait être très tôt. Autrement, cet établissement a dû être un bel endroit il y bien des années, mais là il se fait vieillot.

Mitigé malgré un cadre superbe
Hôtel très bien placé en front de mer, avec arrêt de bus amenant au centre. Service pas à la hauteur, nous avons réservé une chambre pour 3, il manquait un lit d’appoint qui aurait pu être anticipé. Nous avons du le demander 3 fois, il a été monté à moitié et avons du finir sa mise en place nous meme, puis le service d'étage est revenu à 22h pour le livrer alors que cela avait déjà été fait. La chasse d’eau des toilettes était HS à notre arrivée, la machine à pancake aussi. Bref du très bien et du pas terrible.

Très bon hôtel à Galway
Séjour de 2 nuits dans le cadre d'un road trip de 5 jours en Irlande. Nous avons passé très peu de temps à l'hôtel car nous avons profité des 2 jours pour nous balader au Cliffs of Moher et bien sûr autour des lacs du Conémara. L'hôtel est très confortable mais malheureusement, ma réservation de 2 chambres avec vue mer n'a pas été prise en compte. Je ne sais pas s'il s'agit d'une erreur d'hôtel.com ou du Galway Bay Hotel. Je l'avais pourtant bien spécifié au moment de la réservation. C'est dommage car sans la vue mer, l'hôtel perd de son attrait. Le personnel a bien cherché une solution, mais hélas seule 1 chambre avec vue était disponible et seulement le lendemain. Nous avons du coup gardé nos chambres initiales. Personnel sympatique, chambres impeccables avec literie de très bonne qualité. A noter un très bon restaurant au sein de l'hôtel à un prix raisonnable. Nous en garderons quand même un bon souvenir.

Complexe mais trés agréable
Hôtel restant très agréable malgré sa dimension, qui lui enlève certainement une partie de son charme. Le petit déjeuner, irlandais, est très complet, disposé en buffet mais encadré par un personnel très attentionné. Au global, même s'il est un peu excentré de la ville, je recommande cet hôtel sans hésiter. Bon rapport/qualité prix.

Excellent hôtel!
Hôtel très agréable en famille, la piscine est un vrai plus pour se détendre. La route pour le Connemarra commence à la sortie de l’hotel! Les balades au bord de l’ocean et dans le petit parc à côté sont à faire! Le bar avec ses 16 bières différentes à la pression est top! L’acceuil des irlandais est parfait!

The best thing about Galway Bay Hotel is the staff. Absolutely the best hotel staff we had on our trip around Ireland - friendly, professional, and genuine. Although they are right beside an amusement park, the windows are excellent and almost no noise came in. Very comfortable and very walkable into Galway.

Set right on the bay and not far from all the action on Quay st- this hotel is just marvelous. The location is awesome, staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the breakfast was delicious. Would stay here again for sure.

May be a little far for people to walk to town but we loved being by the water. Beautiful views. You could easily Uber to town also. We would stay again.

This property had very easy parking and very helpful staff. If you visit for more than a couple days, they offered activities like yoga, painting, etc..

Well sited property. My only complaint is that my room had a strange odor and not deeply clean. All staff were delightful and hardworking and my kids' room was fine.

Lovely hotel in a great location
Lovely hotel to visit, right on the coast. Positives - beds are very comfy and rooms are quiet. Live music was very good. Underground car available too. Staff are friendly and helpful. Dinner was good. Hotel is 12mins drive from Galway center. Negatives - breakfast slots need to be booked in advance, the food is mediocre & not replenished quickly. Pool is small. Parking spaces are tight.

Nice hotel with average food
Very nice hotel in a lovely location. Breakfast isn't top quality - scramble eggs aren't scrambled, the mushrooms are floating in water, nothing is replaced like the bread, salmon, cheese, sauces, etc., and for some reason you need to book a slot (we're not in Covid times anymore!). People stay in a hotel for the convenience of waking up random and eating breakfast at their leisure. It's not great being told the only slots available are 15mins or 2 hours before it closes. The dining room is massive (and was not full) so use it properly. Parking spaces are tiny but so is everywhere else in Galway! Room was comfortable but wasn't cleaned on 1 day, for an unknown reason. With check-in starting at 4pm, it wasn't like the cleaners were not around and the clean my room sign was on the door. Fortunately, the staff are nice and the bar had live music on which was good. Dinner was fine but it didn't make me want to return the second night. Reception looks nice and the hotel is spacious.
