Notre chambre coté rue était très bruyante jusqu’à tard dans la nuit. Le personnel était très agréable Nous avons pu laisser nos valises le dernier jour et les récupérer le soir avant de prendre le train.

Il manquait de ventilation dans la salle de bains, certains items de la chambre étaient poussiéreux, les matelas étaient corrects. Le service était excellent et l’emplacement idéal.

Situation ok mais très bruyant
Hôtel tres bien situé Cependant, Nous devions avoir une chambre attenante au bar d'à côté !! Impossible de penser a dormir avant la fermeture.... et même là ce fût très bruyant !!! Que penser des odeurs de cigarettes dans les couloirs alors que l'on signe une clause à la réception stipulant l'interdiction de fumer.... Dommage car l'accueil était plutôt sympathique.

Un sèche cheveux mais aucune glace dans la chambre qui permette à la fois de s’en servir et de voir ce que l’on fait. La vue de la fenêtre est décevante

Hôtel de bon standing et très agréable, bien situé pour sortir dans Galway à pied. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux. En revanche, il faut savoir que le parking indiqué est un parking de ville et donc payant.

Bon hôtel en plein centre de Galway
Hôtel très bien situé dans le centre de Galway et à 3 minutes à pieds des gares de bus et de train. Hôtel en cours de rénovation, malheureusement nous avons eu une chambre non rénovée mais je pense que d’ici quelque temps le confort sera encore meilleur. Les chambres non rénovées sont un peu vieillottes, mais la literie est très confortable. Petit bémol sur l’organisation du petit déjeuner, le café n’est pas en libre service, il faut demander au personnel et attendre. Début du petit dej à 07:30, à 08:00 plus aucune viennoiserie. Et concernant le petit dej chaud, il y’a le choix entre 4 assiettes composées ce qui crée du gaspillage car on n’aime pas forcément tout... Cela sera beaucoup plus pratique de tout mettre en self afin de permettre aux clients de choisir ce qu’ils veulent manger. Autre petit bémol, l’hotel est relativement grand et une partie des chambres est sous un bar (qui n’est pas le bar de l’hotel), au deuxième étage on entend bien la musique... heureusement sur les 3 nuits passées, la musique s’est toujours arrêtée à 23:00. En dehors du « problème » sur le petit dej, aucun soucis. Le personnel est très gentil et souriant.

The front staff were pleasant enough. The hotel and rooms are in need of renovations. The toilet seat was almost falling off. The cupboard hinges were broken and the doors were barely hanging on. The taps were leaky and carpets worn out and need replacing. The cleaning lady sat in a utility closet with door open early in the morning outside our room and talked loudly on her cell phone for about an hour.

We stayed at the Eyre Square Hotel for 3 nights while visiting Galway. The lobby, bar, restaurant are all beautiful and updated. Our room I don't think has been updated in many many years. However, it was fine for our trip and the location I'm sure is what drove the price we paid which came out to be about $260 each night. The location was fantastic as it was close (right next door) to the train station, nearby to pubs, restaurants and central Eyre Square all just steps away. Staff we came across were all very nice and very helpful. We were able to check in a little early but not much. Not a big deal, we dropped our bags off and headed to lunch and a nearby pub until our room was ready. Our room was on the top floor and it overlooked the train station. We did have a view of the water though looking past the station which I really liked. The fan in our room was broken but replaced within minutes of arriving. The room had two beds, one double and one twin bed which worked fine for us and was as we expected. I think for the price this would be a great room if the room had been renovated (carpet and beds replaced). Everything was clean but worn. There is a market across the street for a cheap coffee. We had breakfast in the hotel one morning and it was just okay.

Excellent location with short walk to fantastic restaurants and pubs. Very noisy for a weekend stay outside the hotel. Easy check in with friendly staff. Parking is located off site - short walk away but not part of the hotel. Standard double bed in our room, but there was a lot of room for a larger bed or even a pull out sofa, so not as comfortable as it could be. Bathroom was clean with lots of hot water. Beautiful bar/restaurant attached with excellent evening entertainment. Lovely, but poorly trained, bartender who could not make our drink order.

Was very disappointed as had construction above us with Jackhammers that were so loud I couldn’t hear my own voice. We had ‘red carpet’ rooms that were very hot and the newer area must go to reservations directly thru hotel. Bar next door has live music 7 days a week and our room was directly above them also so couldn’t sleep. Terrible stay….

Very convenient spot, close to the train station, bus stop, and city center. Room was very small but we didn’t need much room since we didn’t spend much time in the room. Bed was queen size even though we booked a king. Otherwise, staff was friendly and location was perfect!

Easy, short walk to areas of interest. Nice bar and dining room. Unable to control heat in room, very stuffy, was able to open a window. Breakfast was very slow and almost missed day tour, wasnt able to finish eating, was told by waitress we would be compensated, we were not. We did have an overflow backed up shower plug that was fixed promptly. The front desk staff were helpful and kind.

We found it very noisy with doors banging and also the people in the room next to ours were very noisy up till 1.00am. The breakfast was nice and the staff were friendly. There are two nice pubs across the road and both serve food and have music also which was great.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was a bit small for 3 of us but manageable. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. The hotel is very centrally located and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go which we loved! The only real complaint was the breakfast that was included was not good and the service was so slow we only got a few bites in before we had to leave for a tour and we had gone down with plenty of time(around an hour ahead). We did eat in the restaurant the first afternoon and the food was very good, but again, service was very slow. Overall, I would stay there again, just wouldn’t pay extra for the breakfast.

The hotel has two categories of room - updated and old. They show the pictures of a newly refurbished room, but accommodation can be in the old ones. And the old ones are terrible - outdated worn-out to the thread red carpet with gaps at the walls, scuffed baseboard and furniture that even my grandma would consider outdated. In the backyard some guys were playing a game, shouting and making horrible noise, and the staff said they could do nothing about it. After saying that the hotel was fully booked and we protested the noise for second time, they miraculously found another equally worn-out room at the end of a winding corridor that would be impossible to pass in an event of fire. I have been in many hotels, this one makes the lowest point of all.
