Take in the sights and sounds from the sun-drenched spacious balconies. The back balcony overlooks a lake & the exclusive community pool which is only footsteps away.

Just a short walk from the pristine waters of Terramar Beach. Also quick access to Galveston Bay where you can spend the day fishing and enjoying the warm, calm ocean.

LIVING AREA

Relaxation comes easy in the open-concept boho/beach style living room, furnished with a super comfortable leather sofa, two armchairs, and 2 plush sitting pillows . Gather together to watch your favorite TV shows, movies on the large 75” TV. Enjoy singing karaoke with 2 wireless mics. Play your favorite classic game consoles (Atari and Nintendo) or have a dance competition playing Dance Dance Revolution with the included Nintendo Wii console. Bring your favorite DVD's with included DVD player. There are also some family friendly DVDs you'll have access to.

KITCHEN & DINING

Plenty of counter space makes meal preparation simple in the airy kitchen. We have all the pans and pots needed to cook a full course meal. There is also a crock pot and rice cooker available. A full suite of stainless steel appliances includes a roomy French-door fridge. Enjoy tea and coffee at the coffee station overlooking the lake.

Four can keep the chef company at the spacious kitchen island and another six at the beautifully appointed dining table.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

This home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests between the three bedrooms.

Wake to the views of the gorgeous lake in the peaceful master suite, detailed with a canopy king bed and a 65” TV. An extra bed cushion has been added for maximum comfort. The en-suite master bathroom features a double vanity and a walk-in shower with included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. A chaise lounge is nestled in the corner for reading or relaxing.

The second bedroom can sleep 4 adults comfortably with Full XL bed and 2 Twin XL bunk beds. There is a 45" TV along with a keyboard and guitar if you feel the urge to put your musical talents to practice.

The third bedroom (front) has a deluxe queen bed with an extra bed cushion for added comfort. The work station allows anyone to WFH with our Fast 1000 MBS internet speed.

The 2nd full bathroom has a double vanity and tub/shower combination with included shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel.

A brand new pack and play has been provided for your littles and is located in the hallway closet between the bathroom and the middle room

OUTDOOR AREAS

Sip morning coffee on the back deck overlooking the lake and pool. Sectional outdoor seating, along with a hightop with bar stools and a comfortable rocking chair allow for great entertainment. There is also a 65" outdoor TV so you can watch all of your favorite sporting games. An included telescope is available so you can enjoy bird watching every morning.

The covered front balcony has a surfers theme with a bench and 2 chairs to enjoy a glass of wine facing the Gulf side of the island.

Downstairs Patio- included with this home-propane grill - perfect for grilling/BBQ, corn hole, picnic table, outdoor seating with fire pit, hammock, extra chairs.

Beach Amenities included with this home - Beach towels, beach chairs, ice cooler, boogie boards, umbrella, kite, and sand toys.

There are boardgames/card games located in the pantry located in the lower middle cabinet.

KEURIG K-Cafe single serve coffee maker available for use along with variety of Kcup pods flavors.

This raised single-story home is accessed via one flight of stairs from the driveway.

Your rental boasts a coveted coastal location with easy access to the beach and to the bay. A short drive distance to the the supermarket and within a picturesque drive of Galveston’s best restaurants.

West End Golf Carts & Jet Ski has all your motorized rental needs covered just a few miles away.

Cruise ship terminals are only 30 minutes away and would be a great place to stay before your cruise.

The name "Salt and Light Beach House" was derived from Matthew 5:13-16 - You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

You'll have access to the entire house except for the master closet where we keep all of the back stock of supplies and the garage where we keep our personal belongings.

This is a family friendly home. No pets allowed.

The blinds on the front and back doors, kitchen, living room, and dining room are all cordless. Pull down to close, lift up to open.

Terramar Beach is .4 miles away from the house. Just a short 9 minute walk or a 2 minute drive. You will have to cross San Luis Pass (FM 3005) to get to the beach. You can drive your car onto the beach and there is plenty of free parking. You can also back up your vehicle and unload your beach toys/gear for convenience. The beach is shallow and is perfect for boogie boarding, swimming, lounging, or fishing.
