Enjoy and relax at Alamo Sea!

Escape to our newly built 4 BR/3.5BA house and is just a short walk to the beach. Enjoy sitting on the deck while enjoying the views of the bay and the gulf. Pointe West has a lot of amenities to offer including the beach club pool and the heated sunset pool with a lazy river and hot tub. They are both open 365 days a year and boast beautiful views of the ocean and the bay.

The space

We use our house personally and want to make our home yours while you visit. We have all of the items you will need to cook a nice meal and entertain including spices and basic cooking ingredients. We have a charcoal grill, smart tv and table on the ground floor. Basic cable is in the living room and game room with an additional three smart televisions. We have plenty of games, toys, beach cart, beach towels, beach chairs and beach canopy. We have a pack’n’play and portable highchair.

We are also able to recommend where to rent golf carts, kayaks, and bikes as well as restaurants in close proximity to our house. We have a house manager who lives on the island.

If you happen to be up for a fun filled day trip then downtown Galveston is only thirty minutes away. Galveston offers an endless array of attractions including Moody Gardens and the Pleasure Pier. For the adults in the group the Strand Historic District offers plenty of night life and entertainment.

A boat launch is available across the bridge at the San Luis Pass County Park. Use is free and it is available 24/7. The launch is only ten minutes away. A $2 toll is required to cross bridge.

Guests who wish to use the Pointe West amenities must register with the Beach Club PRIOR TO ARRIVAL and pay a resort fee of $25 per guest over the age of 5. Upon arrival at the Beach Club, wrist bands and a gate code will be provided which provide access for the duration of your stay. The Sunset Pool will be heated as of March 2021. The Beach Club swimming pool is not heated and may be too cold to use during the fall and winter months depending on the weather. Due to circumstances out of our control pools may not be always available. We are not responsible if they are not available during your stay, but we will do our best to communicate if the pool is closed during your stay. A fee of $25 will be charged to replace a lost wrist band. Vehicle traffic is prohibited on this part of the beach.

The home was perfect for my family and friends. The kids enjoyed sharing the bunk rooms. Kitchen was lovely and had everything we needed. The beach closet had beach toys and a cart we were allowed to use which helped so much! Would stay here again.

Lovely Galvy get away

We had a great time during our stay! The house was perfect for our 2 families with kid. A quick walk to the beach with all the things to make it fun (eg boogie boards and ample cooking supplies). Would definitely stay there again!

Family Vacation

Alamo Sea was just as described. Kerri was great with communication and answering any questions we had before the trip. After renting beach vacation homes for years and having limited beach accessories it was refreshing to finally have everything we needed including carts and towels provided and not having to pack all of this stuff along for the trip out of state is such a huge convenience. The location of the house to the beach and club pool was within walking distance. The rainy weather unfortunately kept us in most of the week but with two living spaces the teens were able to watch movies in their space and the adults had their own space. Games and puzzles were also provided at the house so that kept us busy too. We did have one night toward the end of our stay that the weather cooperated and I have to say what I loved about this house is the view. You can sit out on one balcony and see the gulf. The wrap around porch opens up to a view of the bay where you can watch the sunset and have dinner outside. Despite the weather we had a great vacation at Alamo Sea and would definitely return.

Great Stay AGAIN!

This was our 3rd or 4th stay in this house and we love it every time! The two masters and two bunk rooms make for such an easy stay that both sets of parents are comfortable and no kids are arguing about who gets the bunkroom since there are TWO. House has everything you need, kids toys, tents, wagons, all of it. We love coming every year and have already booked next year's stay!

Exceeded expectations

This is our second time staying at pointe west but first time at this property. It was absolutely perfect for our family trip. It was pristine and had everything we needed for a group of toddlers and infant (baby gates, toys, high chair, pack n play). We really didn’t even need to bring anything for the beach because it’s all provided in the closet downstairs. The house is wonderfully setup for multiple families with even a living area upstairs. We will definitely be back!

Alamo sea is as described and so much more. The home is located in a beautiful neighborhood that invites you to take walks in the morning and evening. It’s a few minutes walk to the beach and beach resort. The house is clean and the layout is beautifully done. The beds are super comfy and two big TVs in the living areas for your kiddos to connect their switch. The host was very friendly, and gave lots of information on the area and was very responsive. We will be staying here again!

Wonderful stay at Alamo Sea!

We were very pleased with our stay at Alamo Sea beach house. The property is conveniently located just a block from the beach. Each room is nicely furnished with quality furniture. The 4 bedrooms easily accommodated our party of 11 and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with upscale appliances and most anything you would have in your own kitchen. This beach house has it all - even beach towels were furnished. I would highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again!

Fantastic home

We stayed over the Christmas weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the place . Clean cheerful decor and windows with views every way you look . The layout is cozy. The neighborhood is beautiful and the walk to the beach is easy.

Wonderful Beachhouse for Families

We love this house - the setup with 2 masters and 2 bunk bed rooms works perfectly for my sister and I to bring our families. The house is well stocked across the board - kitchen, towels, and beach equipment. The house was well cleaned and put together nicely. The individual I worked with was very responsive and responsible. I didn’t have any worries. Thank you so much and we hope to come back soon!
