It met our needs, but the property has several issues. I reported the following to Vacasa: 10ZM-BNKX , checking out this morning. I have a few things that you need to take care of before renting this property again. 1. The outside lights on the main deck , stairs, and below do not work. Could not find the breaker box to see if that is the problem. This is a safety issue. 2.The half bath that is advertised is not in the house . It is in a storage area/ garage downstairs. No one is going to use that. The lights in there do not work . 3. The microwave displays a maintenance message.4.The kitchen appliances, especially the bottom drawer in the stove are filthy. We did not use the dishwasher, but the top of the door was absolutely filthy. The clothes drier does not dry cloths very well . Tried cleaning the lint filter, but didn’t 5.Several plugs sparked when plugging phone chargers so we didn’t use them again.This place needs a face lift.

Lovely home, poor management

Property is pretty accurately depicted. We found the house clean and comfortable. First floor bedrooms perhaps had storm covers on windows creating a blackout which our family enjoyed. Upstairs windows had no coverings and we had to cover the upstairs deck sliding doors with sheets to prevent 5 am waking but it was manageable. Grill is locked as others have stated. Kitchen is pretty scarcely provided for but I was able to cook meals without issue. Very limited parking- enough for maybe 3 cars. There’s a wonderful KOA campground across the street we had additional family stay at and took advantage of their pool/lazy river/convenience store. Overall we had a lovely stay but would be hesitant to stay because of the Vacasa management. We left some items behind (completely our fault we understand) but a week out we are still trying to reach someone about how to recover our items. We live local and can easily retrieve them but we can’t even reach local management. If possible in the future we would prefer to rent from a smaller company or individual owner over a large company you can’t even reach.

Wonderful Galveston Visit

We had a very nice stay. The water was beautiful and the beach was very nice. The beach in front of the house does not allow vehicles to park, so it was almost empty. The home was great and very nice. Only complaint is there are pictures of a nice charcoal grill, so we thought we would be able to have a few grilled meals while there. However, guests are not allowed to use the grill.
