Great place to stay in Galena. Plenty of space for everyone to be together or apart. 2nd time staying here and have had great experiences both times. The house is clean and well stocked with all your needs. Would definitely recommend staying here with a large group of friends or family.

We really enjoyed staying at the Gleneagle house. It is a beautiful place with plenty of room for our families to reside together comfortably. We were celebrating our Mom’s 95th Birthday and we had family join us from Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Colorado, Chicago and the Quad Cities. Everything that you could hope for was provided. We really appreciated having the large table to accommodate everyone as other family members staying close by joined us for meals. (30 total)Brian was easy to get a hold of with questions or concerns about the property and responded quickly. We would definitely like to stay there again in the future : )

Outstanding Place for a Fall Getaway

This home was wonderful. Very clean, comfortable beds, and plenty of areas to enjoy both the inside and outside when at the residence. Very picturesque view from the front porch, quiet neighborhood, and an easy drive into Galena to enjoy the area.

Friends from High School Annual Reunion

This property was perfect for our group! It was very spacious!! We loved the front porch rocking chairs and swing along with the screened in porch and a 2nd porch connected to the screened porch for grilling and outdoor table for socializing was perfect!! We all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms! Loved the common social time area in the living room and the kitchen table was large enough for all of us to enjoy a meal together!!

Fun Girls Weekend Stay

We enjoyed the property for our short girls' weekend. Every bed was so comfortable with ample bathrooms for the 8 women on the trip. The kitchen and dining rooms were perfect for cooking for our large group and eating together. Brian was a great host and communicated with us to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend and will be returning!

Perfect Family Retreat

My family (parents, siblings, and the grandkids) all comfortably stayed in the Gleneagle. Having 4 rooms with bathrooms attached to the rooms and all rooms having king beds made every adult get equal space. Brian was quick to answer any questions. Having a dining space that all 11 of us could eat at together was the best. There were 3 outdoor spaces to go (covered front, screened in back, and outdoor deck) that were great gathering spaces or places to sneak off to for a break from family time. Fooseball and pac-man were a hit with the kids and the adults! Plenty of space! TVs in all bedrooms plus up and down stairs loving areas let the kids have their shows seperate from the adults. The owners club was great and easy to use with two pools and a game room space. It was quick to downtown for fun shopping and activities. Kitchen was welll stocked and everything worked. The house is on a quiet street, I would gladly stay again.

Annual family vacation

This 5 bed/ 5bath home was the perfect set up for my husband, our two kids+spouses and their 3 kids each. Each of the adult couples had their own bedroom/bath. Two bedrooms on the first floor, with one of them being the large master (for us)was a perfect set up. King beds in all the bedrooms and were very comfortable. The lower level was a perfect place for the kids to hang out with the foosball table, PacMan, TV and easy access to the hot tub. Spacious first floor with living/dining and kitchen all open to each other. Loved the 3 different outdoor seating areas. The open front porch with rocking chairs and swinging couch was a perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails. The open deck with gas grill and seating overlooked the woods and the screened porch was another great spot to relax. 5 min drive to the club to enjoy the indoor and outdoor pool, basketball courts etc. 15 min drive into Galena with lots of shops and things to do. Close to Chestnut Mountain with fun things for the kids to do in the summer. Fun was had by all!

Friends/couples retreat

I've personally stayed in this home one other time and knew it would be the perfect place for a weekend away with friends. We had 5 couples, so having a bedroom/bathroom for each was great. LOVE the table that accommodated everyone comfortably. We enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace and indoor living spaces as it was still a bit chilly but the men did spend quite a bit of time at the pickleball courts. Brian was responsive and accommodating. We have no complaints! Thanks for sharing your home.

Great place to stay to explore around Galena!

We had a great time! We stayed with 2 other families and had plenty of room. Kids enjoyed pacman machine, foosball table and the hot tub! It was a 20 minute drive to the Chestnut Mountain and 15minutes to downtown Galena. We didnt have a chance to use the clubhouse and its amenities this time. We would love to be back.
