Welcome to Heatherdowns, a newly-renovated and furnished four-bedroom, four-bath home offered for rental for the first time exclusively by Galena Vacations.

This 2400 Sq Ft home sits on a 1.5-acre lot on a quiet street in The Galena Territory, a 6800-acre resort community located 6 miles east of Downtown Galena. The property has a huge backyard with beautiful panoramic views. In addition, the home has a wooded area on one side and vacant greenspace on the other, creating a private and tranquil place to enjoy everything the house offers. There is plenty of parking in the garage and the driveway.

We offer Contactless check-in and Check-out at all our homes. There is one step up from the level driveway to access the house. There are stairs to access the two bedrooms and living area in the lower level.

This home is perfect for 8 guests but will accommodate 10 guests. There is no sofa sleeper, but there is a high-quality self-inflating mattress.

This home features large windows that provide a bright and airy space in every room, large closets, dressers, and nightstands in every bedroom, plenty of plugs for your personal electronics, and the largest walk-in shower of any of our homes.

The living area includes a wood-burning fireplace, a large-screen HDTV television, and a sliding glass door to the rear deck.

The dining table has a leaf to extend it to accommodate up to 8 guests. There are extra dining chairs throughout the house. The kitchen island will seat an additional 3 guests.

The kitchen includes Keurig and Mr. Coffee coffeemakers, air fryer, toaster, blender, crock pot, standard cooking utensils, dishes, glasses, and silverware for 12 guests. The refrigerator has an ice maker and filtered water. There is also a dishwasher, microwave, and oven/stove.

Bedroom 1 (main level): King bed and ensuite full bath with large bathtub and walk-in shower. This is the only bedroom with a television.
Bedroom 2 (main level): Queen bed and adjacent full bath.
Bedroom 3 (lower level): King bed with a private workstation (including monitor) and ensuite full bath.
Bedroom 4 (lower level): Queen bed with adjacent full bath.

The technology at this home includes keyless entry, garage door opener, free wifi, and three Roku televisions with streaming capability. There is no DVD player.

In addition to the two bedrooms and two full baths, the walk-out lower level includes a living area with a large screen HDTV television, a wet bar with a refrigerator, and a large area with a table and chairs for playing cards, children's activities, or extra dining space.

Outside, during the season, the large rear deck is furnished with chairs, a large propane grill (propane included), and a fire table. The cozy front deck offers four chairs and a side table.

This home has a washer and dryer, closet hangers, an iron and ironing board, bed linens, towels and washcloths, trash bags, paper towels, hair dryers, toilet paper, bar soaps, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, and firewood. We provide towels, linens, and soap for up to 8 guests.

Smoking is not allowed in the home, including electronic smoking materials. If you smoke outside, please dispose of your smoking materials responsibly. Additionally, we do not allow pets. You must be at least 25 years old to rent this home.

Your rental includes access to all the amenities in the Galena Territory. The Owners' Club offers an indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool, a fitness center, a gymnasium, a game room, tennis courts, and a business center. Fishing is available at several locations (bring a fishing license, buy one online, or buy one at the marina). Lake Galena offers pontoon and fishing boat rentals for an additional fee. Swimming is not allowed in the lake. The nearby Shenandoah Riding Center offers horse and trail rides at an additional cost. Note: There are 6 access passes in the home for the Galena Territory amenities. If more than 6 guests want to use the amenities at the same time, you can purchase additional passes at the Owners' Club. The cost is $5 per person per day.
