Comfortable beds and nice location. We could have used instructions for how to set the thermostat for the air. It would have been nice to have a screen on the patio doors. Plenty of space.

Our family stayed at this property over the Labor day weekend of 2025. My family enjoyed being there except beware the sofa sucks you in because you sink in lol. If you have mobility issues becareful sitting there. We enjoyed cooking on the grill although the table and chairs weren’t very clean however we would come back. Having access to the pool area was a huge plus.

Galena vacation

We had a great experience with this house and location. This was our first time staying at this property and we really enjoyed the home and the amenities. The check in process was easy and the management team was responsive with our call / questions. I would stay here again.

Beautiful territory home

This house was amazing not just for it’s beautiful location but for its proximity to my wife’s work. She was able to get to and from the wedding venue easily even at night when you are driving through the dark terrain and it was a perfect size for our family. The house was clean and very welcoming mg upon arrival and the accommodations were superior. We will definitely come back!

Family Holiday Gathering

We had three generations of the family gather for a 4th of July BBQ. We went to the rodeo, the pool, hiked through the woods and visited Galena. Made a special trip to Old City Cemetary where several family members were buried in 1860's. Really enjoyed this house and its central location for all of the activities we planned. The property was clean and in good condition. The only disappointment was the pinball machine that was not working - oh well - the pool table got a work out instead.

This was such a beautiful home for a really great price. Normally we stay in eagle ridge in a condo of some sort and my parents come with us. This time my sister and her family were also coming so we needed a little more. It ended up being right in target with what we normally pay for a condo. So we ultimately each paid less than normal and got to stay in a much bigger home with plenty for space for everyone. The company that handles the property is always great to work with. We’ve stayed at one of their properties previously and it was a favorite until this one. Their communication is on point.

Perfect for our family

House has a great layout for our family. Location was perfect for getting out of the city, seeing the stars and enjoying the quiet. Short trip to galena, Elizabeth and woodbine to shop.

Fantastic location!

The house was great for 6 adults, the location was beautiful and we enjoyed having access to the Club House. The Wi-Fi password was incorrect and the picture showing six chairs was inaccurate. I tried calling the “off hours” number several times and no one called me back until the next day shortly before lunch. They did come out and bring two folding chairs and fix the Wi-Fi. I’d read in another review about the moldy deck furniture so I knew about that and yes, it still is. So we never sat on the deck, but we were kept so busy with all Galena had to offer we were on the go a lot!

Overpriced and Not Well Maintained Rental

Four of us stayed at this rental. In a few words, it was not well maintained and was overpriced for the stay. The biggest issue was that there was mold growing all over the outdoor deck chairs so that we could not even sit outside. We had to bring the dining room chairs outside instead. The home itself is dingy, worn and not well stocked. We had to hunt for a bowl for the fruit salad. There was no rhyme or reason to how the kitchen was organized. In addition, the lighting in the house was poor. Lots of bright, ceiling canned lights (daylight LED bulbs) with no dimmers and no table lamps at all in the living and dining rooms. The outside landscaping was overgrown and not maintained well. The barbecue grille was rusty and not clean. There were also no directions on how to operate the TV and dish satellite. The instructions to start the fireplace did not make sense. All in all, there's a lot of maintenance, cleaning and refreshing that this house needs. For the price per night we paid, we would not recommend it as a rental.

Aniversary get away

Nancy and I loved this property! We got in 3 rounds of golf and used the owners club property on every day! This property was a great value,clean,and very private! We love the territory and all it has to offer

First impressions, they property was overgrown with weeks...some over 5 feet tall. Dead leaves and some empty cans under the back deck. Outdoor furniture is weathered and worn. Inside found eggs in the refrigerator. Cabinets were sticky. Hand soap in washroom was watered down. Lower level sliding door appeared to be key locked at the top. Bed spread downstairs was stained and torn on a bed looking to be missing a base mattress. Chair in bedroom was heavily stained. There is no internet or cell service at this home. Satellite television goes out when it rains. Free movie channels has a parent lock code so they were not accessible. A call to the property manager was promptly answered and she came right over to accommodate us as best as possible. The property is dated and in need of updates. Not the managers fault at all. They did the best they could. Other reviews did note the pinball machine shown in the pictures is inoperable. Expect a weathered, worn, tired, weed covered home for your rental. Honestly, there are better properties for a similar price in the Territories.

Spacious Home For a Quick Getaway

The house was spacious and clean. The outside area needs a little upkeep as the bottom level deck had some warped boards and empty cans left in the wood piles. The top deck is wonderful but the grills need some attention to make sure everything is clean and working. The bedrooms were all very roomy and the main bedroom and the lower level bedroom have attached baths. I would also suggest having a couple of folding chairs tucked away in a closet so that more than four people can sit at the dinner room table both inside and outside. There is no WiFi access, so be prepared to be disconnected during your stay. Overall, we had a wonderful time and we would return.

Great spot in Galena (no WiFi)

We had a really fun weekend here! We were looking for something on very short notice, and this spot was great. Lots of room and lots of bathrooms and space for all. There is NO WIFI, and I wish the listing was updated for that (they have it in the clubhouse but you definitely need to drive to use it). The grill was kinda spotty and could use some TLC, but the space we generally pretty clean and well stocked with kitchen items. Definitely bring your own soap and other items like that, and more towels would’ve been helpful. Like most reviewers, we noticed that the pinball machine doesn’t work. We had no issues getting into the pool and spent part of the afternoon there (reservations are required/needed during Covid). It was super safe and so nice to be away from the city to come out to Galena! Would definitely return if WiFi was included with the space.

Fun stay, nice house, but needs a bit more work on the details

We had a good time at the property, the house was nice, the area was beautiful, the beds were comfy, and we had plenty of room for our group of 8 (2 adults / 6 kids). However, some additional detail needs to be given to things, including: - Only 6 passes to owner's club given, but house sleeps 8, so had to pay for 2 extra passes. - There were no wash clothes (so bring your own) - Understanding it is summer and hot, but upstairs was very warm and downstairs was very cool. Not well balanced cooling. - Some little items (details) that need to be addressed, such as DVD remote not programed, blender lid is broken and was hard to use, listing pictures show a pinball machine but didn't clarify that it didn't work. (Property manager said that is why it wasn't listed, but if that is the case the picture needs to be removed and/or a note needs to be in the listing stating it doesn't work. It was very misleading and I had 6 kids very disappointed.)
