Premium villa, panoramic seaview | Grandview

It is difficult to convey fully the wonderful features and attention to details of this superb 4-bedroom luxury villa set above the town of Funchal and with spectacular views of the sea.
Examples abound; elevator to all floors, electrically adjustable cover over the barbecue area and dining table, underfloor heating set at a year-round 22ÂșC, camouflaged air conditioners, Smart TV’s with cable and Netflix connection and en-suites in every bedroom, a separate outdoor kitchenette for preparing anything that may affect the inside of the house, swimming pool shower with hot water
 and too many others to list.
The spacious open plan living area is set on the 2nd floor, and floor to ceiling picture windows open to a very large front terrace with outdoor furniture, perfect for appreciating those awesome views over Funchal and the sea – possibly the best place to see the New Years’ Eve fireworks. To the rear is the laundry and the additional outdoor kitchenette.
The pool deck and long swimming pool (heating optional) is set to the side and includes a barbecue area with covered built-in barbecue and outdoor dining facilities.
Three of the four bedrooms are located on the first floor and share a front balcony; in the bedroom corridor is the drop-down single bed for the 9th person. The fourth bedroom is on the 2nd floor and opens via sliding picture windows to the large front terrace. All bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, air conditioning, sea-view, Smart TV’s with cable and connection to Netflix, and underfloor heating set to 22ÂșC.
A large double garage and the entrance hall can be found on the ground floor.

Pool heating can be provided and should be requested at least one week in advance. Should it be requested after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on.

Three minutes' walk from the villa is a bakery with café bar that makes fresh bread, and there are a couple of simple restaurants within a short walking distance.
The nearest supermarket is 700m away.
Funchal centre and harbour is only 2,2Km downhill. There is a regular bus service, and the bus stop is just a few metres from the house.

Madeira

This makes it a busy, chic, cosmopolitan and fun city, full of shops, shopping centres, bars, cafés and a great variety of restaurants and entertainment; a vibrant, cosmopolitan town where historic splendour and breathtaking natural beauty combine with a thoroughly modern atmosphere.

Cleaning
Cleaning and linen change is provided every 7 days.
All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool.
For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own.

Booking Notes
The advertised prices are based on a 4-person occupancy and a per person supplement applies should anyone join you for any length of time.
To secure your reservation we require a non-refundable deposit or the full amount if the reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival.
A security deposit of 500€ is required, payable by credit card.
The minimum stay is 07 nights.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply.
Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.

The payment of a Tourist Tax has been implemented for all arriving visitors on or after 01 October 2024 across all of Madeira and Porto Santo by the local Municipalities.
This applies to all visitors to Madeira aged 13 or over, and costs 2€ per person per day up to a maximum of 14€ per person.
Your accommodation is responsible for collecting these amounts and paying them on your behalf to the applicable municipality.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:

Leaving the airport take the dual carriageway in the direction of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida).
Take exit number 12 marked “Funchal Campo da Barca”.

This exit takes you into a loop passing under the road and to a T-juntion with a set of

traffic lights.
Turn left at the traffic lights, keeping to your right, and after just a few meters turn right to “Funchal Pena”

Instead of following the road down turn IMMEDIATELY LEFT and head up the hill (see blue

sign for Estalagem do Monte)
Head up this steep winding road for approximately 500 metres travelling underneath the cable car.
Take the 2nd Road on Your Left, signposted “Estrada do Livramento” follow along for 400 metres and Grandview Villa on the right-hand side, nr 18.  
Please park the car in front of the garage until one of the members of OurMadeira te
