With panoramic views over Funchal and the sea, this premium air conditioned villa with private pool is located in the luxury Palheiro Nature Estate, that features the renowned Palheiro Golf, Palheiro Spa and the five-star Casa Velha do Palheiro Hotel. Palheiro Village itself also features the Forum, a large central swimming pool.
At the entrance of the villa, you find the open plan dining area and fully equipped kitchen, leading to a sunken lounge that opens to a side terrace with outdoor dining and barbecue, and wonderful views over the town and sea – perfect for morning breakfast or enjoying those amazing sunsets.
Two of the bedrooms are also on this level, both with their own private balcony and sea-view, sharing a family bathroom. The Master Suite is located on the lower floor, and opens to the front terrace.
The heated (optional) swimming pool, with lovely sea-views and surrounded by sun-beds and sun umbrella is on this level, as well as a service area with an additional fridge, perfect for keeping your swimming pool drinks.

A supplement of 50,00€ per week applies for each additional degree up to a maximum of 26ºC Pool heating can be provided and should be requested at least one week in advance. Should it be requested after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on.

Golf and nearby facilities: The villa is located in the prestigious gated Palheiro Village complex, which is part of Palheiro Nature Estate that features Palheiro Golf Course, Palheiro Spa and the 5-star Casa Velha do Palheiro Hotel. Guests can easily access the Palheiro Nature Estate using the remote control provided for the top barrier of Palheiro Village. The Forum in Palheiro Village set 200m from Palheiro Ocean Villa, a lovely large communal heated swimming pool, is available to guests. Guests at Palheiro Ocean Villa also benefit from green fee discounts at Palheiro Golf. Within the Palheiro Nature Estate are the Clubhouse restaurant in Palheiro Golf, that provides a mixture of snacks and meals whilst enjoying the amazing views over town and the sea. The five-star Casa Velha do Palheiro is the ideal place to take an afternoon tea surrounded by nature and the beautiful Blandy gardens, and also features the the fine-dining restaurant, is the perfect spot for a special dinner or just to enjoy a more sophisticate ambience. The SPA at Casa Velha do Palheiro with indoor swimming pool and special treatments is the perfect place to relax and enjoy one of the many treatments available.. The nearest mini-market and a pharmacy are in São Gonçalo and about 1.9 km from the Villa. Two large branded supermarkets, a small shopping centre, other large outlets and the nearest petrol station are approximately 1.7 Km away. The Garajau Beach part of the Marine Natural reserve is accessible by cable car, is only 3.5 km away. It’s the perfect spot for a nice swim in clear waters. The capital, Funchal, is only a 15 minute drive away, and the airport a 20 minute drive.
Cleaning The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in. All linen and towels are provided. For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own. Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen.
Booking Notes The advertised prices are based on a 4-person occupancy and supplements apply should anyone join you for any length of time. To secure your reservation we require a non-refundable deposit or the full amount if the reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. A security deposit of 500€ is required, charged in advance to a credit card. This will be returned to your credit card within 5 working days after your departure, subject to the villa being returned in good condition. The minimum stay is 07 nights.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time. Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply. Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.
The payment of a Tourist Tax has been implemented for all arriving visitors on or after 01 October 2024 across all of Madeira and Porto Santo by the local Municipalities. This applies to all visitors to Madeira aged 13 or over, and costs 2€ per person per day up to a maximum of 14€ per person. If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:
Leaving the airport take the dual carriageway in the direction of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida).
Leave the via rapida at exit 15 signposted Cancela/Garajau/Camacha. After exiting the motorway turn right onto Cancela. Keep driving up the hill until you reach a roundabout.
On the roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted Cancela/Parque Industrial/Funchal.
After exiting the roundabout keep driving on the same road for 1.6km until you reach Palheiro Village. After entering the estate please keep driving up the hill unitl you find villa 58.
