« The check in staff was friendly and helpful. The room looked to be fairly recently renovated. There were serious omissions in the amenities. No hair dryer and I was unable to get any help in sourcing a replacement. The room was woefully dark. Only a very dim ceiling light and one table lamp that was probably a 46 watt. « On the positive side, we were upgraded from a 2 beds bedroom to a cabin with 3 beds. That was convenient, since the kids were able to sleep into their own bed. The rooms were well furnished, the room decorations was pretty. On the negative side, the beds were not firm, thus not very comfortable. « We spent the night to visit Pikes Peak Mountain. The owner at the reception is very smart and helpful. The room is very old-style but clean and the king size bed is very comfortable. The motel is very well situated, a few meters for the city center where you can go out for dinner. And the night is very quiet as there is no real activity around at night.
